well i thought that it was really different to what i was expecting i thought that it would be like the one in 2005 (if you havn't seen it here's a link http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=T8dvMDFOFnA)

they changed nearly the whole game, one of the worst changes they made was making a nesting system where ALLLLL creatures are centered around a nest and don't realy wonder off, however in the 2005 version it looks like it is a proper ecosystem, and the shape of the body and legs actually effected how fast the creature can walk.

well its slightly obvious which one is preferable to play, i just don't get y they changed it. ik alot of people say that it was crap i bet if it had of been the 2005 version they would have loved it.

Their is no doubt whether spore will b a success or not, hard facts say that it is obviously the most anticipated game ever, in the history of games.

Also its a never ending game that will be played 4 many years as long as it has good in game controls.

It will be held high by maxis for years with expansion packs, as this would be the most expansion pack set up game in again the history of computer games.

It has received perfect reviews with no bad reviews, and will heighten the "mean" of freeness in the game play by a hell lot more than any other game ever created.

Its really open and I wonder how well guided you will be. For instance a lot of people didn't like oblivion because they didn't know what to do. Spore could be 10 times worse.

Also its almost looks like no matter what u do it'll work lol. i understand what your getting at tho, but u just look at 1 of them video demo's and it looks pretty straight forward.

hey BL culd u dig up some stuff on what spore might have like flying, swimming, camouflage and also i reckon spore wuld b good with a 1vs1 option where u start the game at the same time and stuff so its fair.

do u know if creatures actually attack with there weapons :?because from what Ive seen when they attack they use there hands and head no matter where u put the weapon and also is it the same play, attack, roar no matter what because that's all Ive seen on that as well.:?

DRM would have to be the no.1 sale killer, it is the most stupid idea in the history of the earth. i mean it'd only be a couple of months or even weeks till its hacked, given spores awesomeness and market, and even b4 then pirates will find away around it without even hacking it. and all it would do is make the pirated game even BETTER then the originally couse there's no worry about it expiring.

just making it activate in the first 10 days with a password that only works once with a Internet connection straight to EB to give the pass the thumbs up, would be better and probs take even longer to hack and doesn't cause the buyer any trouble at all.

personally i don't think spore will go the same way as the sims.

i mean take GTA for example i still go onto vice city and have hours of fun when i'm not really actually doin... anythin like i just go round blow up stuff shoot ppls heads off :) ect and not do ****.

while spore's free-play is even greater because there just about nothing you can't do in it. but yes i have to agree it is set up for a ton of expansion packs, probs even more than the sims:shock:!!!dun dah daa!!!:shock:

well anyways u know how the game ain't multilayer I think that like in RTS's that there is a multilayer not MMO just MP option to vs. ur Friends but no one else. You know what i meen.

You could start from the beginning at the same time, and your friend plays on the same world/solar system.

Then you have to try and beat each other in a intergalactic war or something.

That would be sweet 8) and if they do put that in "shoddy" vs u BG:D

The creature, vehicle, and building customization will be awesome, but I think Spore is going to lack actual gameplay. It's a game about how fun it would be to make a game your own, rather than actually playing a game.

It does have good game-play i meen at least it is a round world that you can walk around on.

couse i hate games were you have a set path and you have to go that way like lord of the rings. good game but it could be so much better.

And especially the space phase. the space phase is pretty much as open ended as it gets without destroying the game by giving the player nothing to work with.

+ what you do in the editor actually effects the game-play.
