Spore isn't a RTS spore is mixture of other things and completely new things all rolled into one genera SPORE.

As there is no genera ever that can describe it!

And i hope you understand now after about 500000000000 posts that spore isn't a mmo but a MSO this is a crucial aspect of the game.

and new games that have just come out can cost up $100 and spore is really new and awesome and better than any other game!

I haven't played WoW since sometime last year, and I don't intend on getting back into it with the expansion, so yeah I guess you could say I'm quitting for Spore.

That's the only game I know I'll for sure be buying this year.

i got banned from WoW so pretty much the same!

although i would like to play wow again SPORE makes wow seem like space invaders. (based on emotional and game-play depth)

hay the pre-orders for spore are out and its only supposed to be $50...:oduh dun duh:o

does anyone know if this is true or not because spore has been work on for so long and they are are using pretty massively complex engines for the procedural animation.

IK there is the possibility of having to pay 4 the online part :cry: but i don't see maxis taking that step anytime soon.;)

spore is NOT a MMO

Will wright is VERY clear on this and i don't know why everybody thinks it is!

it is a massive SINGLE player online game. You don't actually interact with anyone directly you just get to play, see and interact with there CREATURES and city ect...

I concur. Look at Crysis. While it was a great game, the Ice environment was a total dissapointment, comparing it to what they originally slated it to be. Also the emergent gameplay, where what you do has repercussions in the future of the game. I'm not sure if that was Crytek who changed it or EA, but I have a feeling it was EA.

Yes spore should live up to the hype because of the sporepedia.

If there is more hype then the sporepedia will get more cool stuff faster and the game will get even better.

And Will is a great designer he has created the best games of... ever. and also there has never been a game where the player has so much creative control. Meaning that the way the player plays the game can effect is AWSOMENESSS!!!!!!
