I'll definently be getting it, saving money this summer to pick it up and pick up the Gran Turismo for it.

it's smaller size, and change in set up, makes it far more portable. Considering were playing a quasi PS1-PS2 game system that can fit in our freakin' pocket. with on-board memory of 16 gigs, as well as the ability to add more memory to it. and those chips are steadily getting cheaper as time goes.

The ability to do Remote Play with your PS3, play an ever growing collection of PS one games, PSN games, and of course PSP games.

I much prefer the slick look, my hands will be able to more comfortably grip it (i imagine it by viewing the PSP Go being held).

I am hoping to see more of the popular PSP games to start coming into digital like God of War, Resistance, Ace Combat and Metal Gear. - including the already released games.

-----------------------

It may be smaller, it may not have UMD, but what you gain is:

More Portability, it is easier to tuck it away and go on the go.

That includes just a flick of a button to go from Gran Turismo, to Final Fantasy 7 to Metal Gear.

Built in on-board memory, with the ability to add more memory later on. 16 gigs will take a while to fill if all your loading is MP3's and Games.

No UMD means less moving parts, which means less power consumption, which means longer life (expect to be).

No Noise, as a minor complaint.

-----------------------

Seriously to the people bashing it, you can still stick to the PSP 3000, be really happy that Sony is trying to expand the audience to people like myself who've been waiting for something like this. to really complement my new bought PS3 (which i'm more and more playing and loving - who gives a **** it's in last place in the console war), to play something like the PSP Go, i can actually imagine replacing my iPod. my campus usually has pretty darn good wifi, the idea of sitting down and just streaming video off of my PS3, all the while effectively using the space on my PSP Go to have ALL my games on their (or mostly all my games - you can use the Media Go as your 'locker' and even then you can jsut make another copy of the file and back it up).

If i wanna play Resistance online, i can still play with all you guys out there with PSP 1000, 2000, and 3000. I just and some other people just went with the digital only route.

I think it's really faulty to think that smaller screen for original price is too much (and it very much is i guess - you guys got a point on the price point), however you are getting more. you can now take it on the go a lot easier. hell.....

i agree with you on all but looking at sum photos the fact that the joystick is on the right side of the dpad and it small makes it hard and might end up in alot of hand cramps.but hey each too there own

[QUOTE="gho5ty"]

[QUOTE="lewisg1212"] steam for every console? that would kill high street game shops....we wouldnt survive without pre-ownedlewisg1212

not really if you buy the game pre-owned say from gamestop they will have it linked too a sony computer and it will give u the code

id hate to do all the processing fr that at work :P nice idea though

its is a great idea because it would stop the stupid hackers from killing the people who spend hard ernd money on a game they want too have fun online with
