Oblivion, is no.6 overall total game sales in its first week of sales in Japan, based on famitsu.... selling aroung 50,000 units the first week... this is impressive since there are only around 450,000 xbox owners in japan.... means that 20% of the of the install base bought oblivion in the first week...

Point is, I never thought that the Japanese would embrace westerns RPGs... I guesss I was wrong...

I use a 2rca-male to 3,5mm stereofemale converter (costs 2$ or so) & plugged in a pair of headphones (that have their own volume switch/wheel). For speakers any that have 3,5mm input would work.
jelloblimp

Yeah, jelloblimp is right... with that you can either connect headphones (which probably mean xbox live headphones might be a problem)... so you can use cheap computer speakers for like US20...

Does your LCD have built in speakers?

How much do these cost and what's the highest resolution that can be reached through VGA?

GoldenGlove

Microsoft VGA cables would put you around US40 (stereo jack converter included)...

The stereo jack converter is only around US2....

My 360 runs at 1280 X 1024 on my LCD, but the 360 can go higher...

Check the xbox VGA help site on xbox.com and check the specs of the LCD first...

You want to get the resolution highest as possible, while still maintaining 60Hz refresh rate if possible.

I assume you have the microsoft VGA cable

their should be a connector that can convert the red/white to a stereo jack packaged with it... look inside the packaging..

Try playasia.com...

They have info on the games they have no region lock...

Gear of war for example had no region lock... My xbox 360 is from Japan.. I play the US region of gears of wars just fine... Region lock is optional for software developers...
