What's the point if the games aren't there? And I say that for both the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The switch lacks the power of each one of those consoles and yet it's been the most successful. Sony and MS should try to be more like Nintendo: focus on the games and less on the hardware.
You can get it cheaper through Ebay, Groupon, and Cd Keys sites. The license keys work. I paid $11.90 for my upgrade. All upgrades go through the Windows Store, so you know that you're getting a genuine upgrade. Anyhow, $30 is still a great price but there are cheaper options out there if you take the 10-15 minutes to research it. I think for most people looking for an even cheaper price is to buy the upgrade through Groupon.
I think it's all going to be good. With James Gunn at the helm, with a lot more freedom to do what he does best, is definitely a winning formula. I'm looking forward to the DCU reboot as I find their characters to be a bit bolder than those in the MCU.
OW2 needs to return to 6v6. Also, I feel like th game needs to be revised to a previous season. There are certain aspects of characters that I have missed such as Torb's armor drops, Mercy's team revive ultimate, and the previous version of Orisa. Also, I have to agree with other posters that the nerfing of hard counters has taken away much from the game. Lastly, I also think some characters need to be removed or reworked for the game as well as they don't do much for a team in their current state.
The biggest problem that the Devs have, they can't see it themselves. The balancing of the characters has been excessive since the launch of OW2. I'm not saying that it isn't required, but the game appears to require a lot of updating and maintenance. Maybe that's ANOTHER BIG reason why the game was originally 6v6. The game didn't require as many updates as it currently does when the game was 6v6.
@DaDown: There's a case where the main purpose evolves into something else. You're absolutely correct, but hypothetically, what if docking stations also become external GPU enclosures, witht he ability to replace the GPU? It's sure interesting to think about.
@Brimac19: It's a moment where I say "Thank God for for Gamepass". However, the mediocrity can only last for so long. But what is most annoying is that they wait to fix the games until after its release... that's the part that annoys the crap out of me.
@hammy3000: I do realize that. However, I haven't purchased a physical game since Diablo 3. I've downloaded everything since. Also, not all of the games require an internet connection to play. Furthermore, if I have to purchase a game that is leaving Gamepass, I'm practical paying peanuts for the game most of the time. That's why I have an 8TB external HDD hooked up to my Xbox Series X.
