halo still doesnt appeal to me...no matter how many suckers say its the best game ever....theres no such thing...every game has its highs and lows

i can post here just as much as anyone else...id say the same thing about the same people that flood good ps3 news with non-sense...me on the other just here stating my opinion and facts just like everyone else...so i have just as much right...and no im not jealous of 360 and halo 3....why would i? lol...game doesnt appeal to me much....does that mean i cant comment about it?...nope...so thats why i write here...and i still stand by what i say....halo 3 is a over hyped overrated game...that no one here has yet to give a legitimate reason why its SOOO GREAT AND BEST OF ALL FPS...when it still uses same mechanics...and how its revolutionary...someone tell me how this game is so above all the rest....besides everyone was suckered into buying it cause they know everyone will buy it...thats not a reason to buy a game or say a game is the best of all time...people brag about a game that they didnt make themselves...brag about a game that i can go into the store right now purchase for myself if i were interested...and still have the same idea about the game..overrated..what will you have to say then?...nothing revolutionary about the game at all...so just face it..."your" halo 3 isnt all what its talked up to be...accept it lol

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the Halo series as any other gamer but can you point out A SINGLE THING that even fits the definition of revolutionary? Is Halo 3 radically innovative? No, It does not completely change or innovate the first person shooter genre. Is it beyond established principles? No, Halo 3 is a first person shooter and has very common elements in other first person shooters. I of course have my opinion that it does not rework the first person shooter genre but just provides the 360 with a good game. And obviously you have not played Half Life 2. From the experiences I have had with the Forge editor and with Gary's Mod on Half Life 2, Gary's Mod has so much stuff that is creatable and interchangeable that it allows for so many situations that Halo 3's Forge editor can't possibly contain." well put...now your talking my language

i wouldnt call would i said "fanboyism"..its more like person preference...one being i never said 360 was a bad console...and not liking halo doesnt make me a fanboy either...i stated FACTS about ps3...i kno FACTS about 360 (not a bad console)...wii (only revolutionary next gen console...tho i have no interest in purchasing it)....pc (best of all gaming platforms)....does that still make me a fanboy?....well i stated those facts because diehard halo fans can look beyond master chief (aka ms)...like you said...halo is shoved into peoples throat and veins like vaccines...so they have no choice...but i was sayin that to people sayin ps3 has no games...its inferior to 360....both consoles has its strengths and weaknesses...DOESNT make me a fanboy for addressing the issue...call it what you want tho...in the end of the day...my opinion and yours will be forgotten forever...im just here making a mark just like you....MystMetalDragon....so...in simple terms....happy gaming

halo isnt user generated content...maybe game videos and editing the same maps...same maps...you cant create your own map...your still limited to the same content they give you...yes its been on pc for a while now...and you can create your own maps...customize them your way..with tools devs used to make theirs...use your creativity and share your work with others...its been around...look at unreal tournament...its been around...its nuthin new...maybe on console but your still not creating your own content...your just editing devs work...boo hoo

halo is hype game...most popular games are hype games...cause its shoved in peoples faces enough...only REAL GREAT games are shoved under the table cause they arent promoted like the HUGE MUST HAVE GAMES...most games i enjoy playing either dont get good reviews or arent promoted loudly enough for the people to understand...people let critics, journalist, and biased gamers munipulate their brains into thinkin the game is the BEST GAME EVER...nothing about halo is revolutionary or new...it just took ideas that already worked and put in into one...hmmm...same thing sony did with its ps3...now if halo is 'SO REVOLUTIONARY" cause it has everything into one...then why does ps3 suck?...it takes more than just gaming and media and puts it into all in one box...and believe it or not...saves you money in the long run...i can use my ps3 and a gaming console...new gen and old gen...play music videos...watch dvds and blu-rays...stream music and video from pc...upgrade hdd to my desired size (dont have to buy over expensive proprietary peripherals like ms makes its console owners)..which leads ot using any bluetooth headset, mouse, keyboard, etc with use of my console...for certain games and for linux...meaning i can also use my ps3 as a desktop pc...surf web, edit photos, play emulation games (got most of snes library on my ps3 and can use the six-axis control for controls)...hmm...i can also hook up printer to ps3 and print photos...create wallpapers directly on my ps3 via linux..save on my sd card ( integrated on ps3)...and save as background image...download full ps1 titles onto hdd and play them from ps3 hdd...new h ome service is in the works...opening the online community to a 3d world (beyond the bland ms achievements and words and little icons you get on xbl)...thats right...what would you rather....a gold medal or trophy for winning olympics or getting 200 gamer points added to your name lol...yeah point system on xbl was a good idea...but ps home's trophy system will take it to the next level...i can invite friends over to actually VIEW my achievements...not jsut look at words and a number next to my gamer id...i can on on forever about home...now games...theres games...people say theres no games....i play many game son my ps3...so how could there be no games?...if you mean games that you dont like then that sounds like personal preference...i have from between 15-20 friends online everyday....playing games...folding@home (neat and important program)...any doing other stuff...oh!! and play online...FOR FREE....thats right for free...all that in ONE BOX...or PLAYSTATION...hmm....but ps3 sucks...and 360 and halo 3 is the best..........think about it
