I played ffxi for most of last year and I can say it was one of the funnest games I have ever played. Its also one of the most time consuming games, in about 7 months last year I had over 600 hours logged and I was only around lvl 40. Make sure if you do decide to go with ffxi have a couple of friends play with you so you can help eachother with leveling and doing quests. The game is absolutely huge with all the expansions and you could play thousands of hours with tons more to do. If you are willing to pay the $13 a month and have a bunch of time on your hands then you cant go wrong with ffxi.
I do have the resolution on widescreen, i have been playing the sports games and zelda, It is like a border only only on the bottom not all the sides, it looks like the image isnt being streched all the way down to the last half an inch or so of the screen. Its not really that big of a deal, but it would be great if I could figure out whats wrong.
I just got a wii for my birthday and I am playing on a 32" widescreen hdtv with the av cables that come with it. I just noticed today that at the very bottom of the screen durring every game I play there is a black line where there is no picture. Does anyone know if the component cables will fix this problem and make games fit the whole tv corner to corner?
