erm no there not lies. The cell arcitecture is something we are going to see in all forms of tech in the comming years. ITs highly inovetive and powerfull. Once they get this into PC's (i7s are getting there) it will be over!!!!
dont get me wrong, im not saying the cell chip in the ps3 is more powerfull then my quadcore but the tech is more advanced and for half the cost can get very good results.
Do some research and you will see that cell tech is actually very interesting and advanced!
forgive me if im wrong but 8 million dosn't seem that much for a year headstart, especially when at the ps3's launch the gap was considerably bigger.
It seems every market analysis says PS3 will come out in 2nd above the xbox by the time this gen is done.

It won't happen by being outsold 2:1 in Europe which ahs been the case the last couple of months. The PS3 has also not outsold XBOX 360 here in NA. I suppose Japan better start thinking PS3 is amazing and start buying them more than they are PS2's which are still outselling PS3 in Japan.
well in the UK none of my friends have one because of the price, there all waiting for a price drop. You have to remember in europe people are used to the sony systems as they have been very popular over here. It wont take much before people swing there cash back into sonys pockets.

Before I came here I hated them all equally, however spending time on this forum has really made my hatered of one particular group very strong. The closed mindedness of this group is one step above, they also have the arrogence thats designed to annoy. They definatly flame bait the most and have the hardest time seeing the truth that is infront of them. Accept it you system has dried up worse then the desert, stop trying to defend or to change the subject ;)

I actually agree. People who own the 360 version will not though because of that gimped D-Pad they cant really enjoy the game so much.

unreal, I have a 360 controller for windows with sf4, this has to be the most frustrating experience ever. My thumb is cut from the cheap d-pad (or analog with a weird looking thing on it) so im using the analog stick now. Extremely hard to play the game well on this thing, not like the old snes/ps2 pads anyway
I tried a friend's BlazBlue on the 360 controller, it was embarassing, it was so bad I can't believe anyone considers either the d-pad or analog a permenant solution to playing fighters on 360, it should be arcade stick, or nothing, like it actually feels like it might be a better idea to skip out on a game all together then using the 360 controller for a fighter... The 360 controller is awesome for a lot of other games though, not hating on the controller in general, just for fighters.
yer its awesome for everything else. Fighters and sports games I dont like it for though

Meh I've always preffered a LAN with my friends over split screen, even big TV's only give you about an 9"-20" screen if you have more than 2 people. You have to squint to see whats going on and the FOV is awful.
yer obviously that is loads better but the consolities will say you need $1,000,000 for that rig just to play with friends
