Damn... just had a read - and noticed, as you mention, that my 360 (being an early model) has no HDMI port!

So I'm guessing I'll need the component HD AV cable (which might be in the box if I dig it out)?

I've bought a Toshiba Regza... which seemed to have prety good review, several from people using it with a 360.

Just bought my first big-ass HD LCD TV (full HD). Looks like I need an HDMI cable to get my 360 running on Hi-Def, and just wanted some opinions on what the best cable is, and a good place to purchase in the UK.

I'm new to the HD world - so any advice much appreciated.

Thanks.

Tried everything... so ended up taking it back to the shop for a replacement... and the new one works fine.

Unfortunately, the Wii pales in comparison to the PS3 & 360 in this department. I have to do the same thing when I switch remotes. If you are using a charging station in lieu of regular batteries then you might consider just changing the battery pack each time and keeping the same remote synched.

Just one of the reasons the Wii is so much cheaper than the others.

This is nothing to do with changing batteries etc... I just want the 2nd remote so I can play 2 player. My 1st remote that came with the console works fine - and has yet never lost sync.

Yep. I tried using my 2nd remote as number 1... but again - every time I restarted the console it had lost sync.

I've followed the instructions very closely - and nothing seems to correct the problem. Since I have no problems with my 1st remote (that came with the console) - I'm starting to think it might just be a faulty remote, so will probably take it back to the shop this week.

Every time I want to use my 2nd Wii remote - I have to re-sync it! As soon as I put the console onto standby, or switch it off it loses sync - and none of the buttons (A, B, Power, etc) do anything... no lights flashing... nothing)

The only way I canget it to workis to do the whole -press red button on remote, then console thingy.

The remote that came with the console works fine - it's just my 2nd one that does this.

Anybody got any tips... or does it sound like my remote is busted?

Thanks for any help.
