Funnilly enough i've been looking at getting this game pre-owned at my local game merchants. From what i could remember about it it was a great game, with a great story that's rather blurry in my head now, but i can remember my jaw dropping a lot at some of the plot points. I would definatley recommend it to anyone who has a console to play it.
what kind of zombies are we talking about here? the slow n stupid kind or something a bit more active? if it was the slow and stupid kind i'd be in no rush to leave for safety, probably sit down and watch a DVD or play resident evil for a bit then go for a wonder to see if anyway else is about. However, if it's the quick n crazy type i think i'd be inclined to run like hell, probably see if i can grab a car and travel abroad if possible. Lets face it, if your gonna get eaten alive it might as well be in a nice sunny country. Would be a waste being devoured by the undead outside your local tesco. Caribbean here i come!
i think VI should be remade, if it's for the DS. It looks like soon enough all pre-3D FF games will be available for DS which i think would be brilliant, bringing the older games to a newer generation would be good fun. However, SE also should be trying to get more NEW Final Fantasy games out there other than XIII, and back to the well known turn-based battle system too.
That seems to be the way with dragoons don't it! Good up until a certain point then rendered completely useless! =/ i think the job system should be put into more FF games.
woo! dragoons, forgot about them! they were always brilliant, i had one in FF3 and he was really useful up until the last boss when he seemed to lose all effectiveness...still!, was great up until that point.
I first got into Final Fantasy when my bro's mate brought VII over to our house once, within about 10 minutes i was hooked and since then i've played 10 of the games and watched The Spirits Within and Advent Childrten and not one of them has been bad, don't get me wrong they aren't all shining examples of what RPG games should be but they've all been a cut above the rest of the RPG games out there. I bought a PS2 with the sole purpose of playing FF games. So i've invested in a console because of it and been playing them for 7 years, now that i think about it and add it all up it has played a pretty big role in my life. Crikey, what a game!
As far as the games go i don't think sequels are the way to go, if they keep making entirely new storylines with new characters it'll keep the FF games fresh in my opinion.
However, i wouldn't mind a film adaptation similar to Advent Children
