no worthwile games.... and 25% discounts? what happened to the 80% discounts we used to see.... and massive bundles of like 20 games for 19.99... this year has been horrible

all of this is bullshit anyway. you arent playing any games made in the last 4-6 months at 144FPS anyhow unless everything is turned down to low. the witcher 3 needs a pretty beefy rig just to get 1440p/60, and games are only get more demanding in the next 6mo-1yr. i have an SLI 970 system and i have to turn foliage distance and shadows to high, with the rest on ultra, just to get 1440p/60 80% of the time.

it is on sale on steam.... and while it is early access, it is from the devs that made strike suit zero, so it will most likely actually release.

game looks pretty great from what i can see. anyone have it and want to weigh in?

that isnt true at all, the game fully supports total conversion modding.... we just have to wait for the redkit to release.

honestly... the more they patch the game, the worse the game runs/the more bugs the game has..... they need to just roll it back to 1.0 and leave it be. the game ran WAY better the first few days after release. i also crash a metric **** ton more now.

Actually, the whole internet threw a fit at that Crysis footage vs final engine.

I think the complaints are just because people are getting tired of shown one thing, and then delivered another.

Crysis still looked impressive. Witcher 3 doesn't even look like a same game anymore. Even its art style is changed and it's a lot more colorful like a painting. It's like they scraped the old art style that was faithful to first two games because it was "too depressing" for younger audiences. Not to mention number of NPCs.

Have you even played TW3? It's just as colorful as TW2. I don't know why people seem to think TW2 was a dark game, it wasn't, especially Flotsam. Also, the subject matter of the quests is a hell of a lot darker content wise than anything in TW1 or TW2. As a matter of fact, the entire atmosphere of TW3 is a hell of a lot more "depressing" than the first two games. They clearly didn't do it for younger audiences. Maybe play the game before bashing it.

Seems like you love it when people laugh at you. Get your eyes checked. Flat lighting and dark areas in Witcher 3 =/= dark tone.

The image you posted has real dark tone to it,,, not because the lighting is flat or the scene doesn't look good but because of the art style. Seems like you've no idea what you are even talking about. Stop embarrassing yourself.

both are images of a forest at mid day. witcher 2 is clearly just as, or more colorful than witcher 3.
