Depends on the 3D engine renderer and GPU design.
On the PC, DX9c has more CPU involvement compared to DX10 or DX11.
killzone2 and halo reach both use forward and deferred rendering. killzone2 has more lightsources because the cpu is more powerful, u could have more lightsources in unreal engine 3 game on ps3 than 360.
