It looks to me like you can't hit any of the buttons on top of the wiimote when using this. I think in the wii zapper they might put something together to fix that.

[QUOTE="wv06"]

The Wii needs a New Star Tropics!!!

or at least the old one on the virtual console

BEST game of my childhood

Death_Razor

I would buy it for sure on the VC. As a new game? maybe.

I own star tropics but the game cant play for more than 20 minutes before lagging to death... Damn old NES

I love my fully functional NES.

The VC is great. It really makes the wii worthwhile for me. However, it sounds like most of the people who have gripes are outside of North America and Japan. I bet the virtual console will be just as good overseas as it is in the first countries the wii launched in a couple months.

Looks like a pretty cool game, but it looks ALOT like The legend of zelda. I never played it but i seen alot of vids and looks alot like Zelda to me. a Wii version would be cool but if they made a VC of it i would pass on that one.Jonthin
It's a lot more linear than zelda, but the gameplay is VERY similar.

[QUOTE="wv06"]yup the good old yo-yo... yea it was out in 1991 definitly one of the best games i played back thenwv06

Well if it was 1991 (Gamespot says 1990), then I would've been six or seven years old when it was released. I feel a lot younger than that in my memories... :?

haha it prob was 1990 then.. i know what you mean, College killed all my memory cells, its just bits and pieces now. Although i remember star tropics in some of those pieces!

I beat the game and liked it, but that release date definitely puts my age at 1-2 years old. I definitely beat it 2 years ago, though. I think the yoyo would sync with the wii pretty well, and the flails, too.

I didn't have problems at all to connect on the shop channel. The only annoying thing I have on the shop channel is the stupid background music. It's like an infomercial song like Shopping TVA in Quebec. chris3116
Hmm.... Why would something called the shop channel have music similar to Shopping TVA. It's truly puzzling. /sarcasm I've been getting errors when I tried to log in lately, but I assume its because of the hot content thats just been released.

Metroid prime 3 looks hot and zelda does too, only problem with zelda is that i hate geting lost hehe

I love RPG games and play alot of quest based games online for PC but i understand on zelda the quests are like " Find a type of mushroom " where you have no clue to go - this is just like monster hunter freedom i got for my PSP but traded in a week after.

Thanks for the post

Zelda tp doesn't have quests where you don't know where to go, unless you don't read the dialogue, and is one of the highest quality adventure games you will ever find. It's definitely going to be a thousand times better than anything on the PSP. Also, you should see the games recommendation thread for games you might like.
