To all the people that think WoW is better than runescape - you are wrong. I have spent about half a year playing wow in total and I have spent about 2 years playing runescape Let me explain to you why world of warcraft is boring. 1. Too much map per player. There is no one around if your not in a main city. 2. Too much walking. 3. Mainly just killing things and doing same old quests, eg, collecting things after a monster drops them. 4. If people are a high level, they won't walk to you, so as a noob, your stuck. Let me explain to you why runescape is so much better(this is before the major updates of 07/08 which stopped free trade). 1. The atmosphere, there are so many secrets to runescape eveyrone is always talking about where to get this and how to get that. So many more rare items that make you travel the map in order to get them. 2. Missions don't repeat, every mission was unique and fun. 3. Making money is way more fun than on wow. Runescape feels so good when you see 100k in your inventory. 4. So many other facts where you have to play it to actually realize it. Warning - after the huge updates a couple of years ago, runescape lost 75% of its players. However, runescape peaked at 150 million accounts while wow is still at 20 million.
