Would we have gotten the fallouts on consoles if it was not for this game? Probably not...

I will agree with you on that. I will confess when I first played the game like many it blew me away, and for personal and nostalgia reasons its a special game to me. However thats a long story in itself, and despite that I recognize that it is flawed. In my opinion the gameplay is fine, the problem is with the aged graphics compared to the other ffs, however in another thread I donot judge a game based on this. FFVII I make the exception being that VIII and FFIX look far better and look good imo to this day to me. Also the biggest beef I have is with its sloppy translation. The problem with the translation is that it sometimes go into engrish and it makes the story more complex than it already is....I recognize its opinion, but I donot let my own personal feelings about the game blind me. And I Prefer FFVI anyhow...

I will have to go out on a limb and say any Halo game. The original one was pretty good, but every single one after that is overrated by a LOT. and I'm also not a supporter of giving ANY game a 10/10. NO game in my eyes is "perfect", there is always room for improvement.
