I actually jumped on this forum to talk about how much I dislike the game. It was very tedious to me. I just finished the first section "The Citadel" and it never clicked for me. I think my problem may be more with the style of game than the game itself.

The graphics are amazing. I spent time just looking around at things, it's that pretty.

The main story seems interesting. The side stories are a snooze. Sadly I'm one of those people that feels like they have to do everything in a game so I was bored.

Combat seemed unpolished, especially in the vehicle.

i still think thats a retarded question why do people ask that especially now when ps3 now has a decent online system okay think about like this like 99.9% of 360 have single player does that answer question and yes as it will be with any online system you will be missing out just like if you bought a ps3 had resistance and no internet

I have 40 hit points, but I was hit for 500000 odd hit points and nothing happened. I think it has to do with the patch. I thought I had properly patched, but my version number is still 1.0. I could not get the patch to install automatically so I copied the files into the data folder. Must not have been the way to do it.

How do I patch in XP SP2?

I finally bought this game to see what all the fuss is about. After some trouble and a lot of visits to many forums I got it installed and patched. When I fired up, everything worked fine. My character walked out of the vault and entered combat with a rat. I sae the following:

Rat hit for 523096 hip points.

then, "Cave rat were hit for 522980 hit points were killed."

Seems wrong to me. Is it?
