The news posters deserve some credit for actually finding something I actually want to read unlike the "news" that G4 or GS provides. I am judging by games that we have seen a good bit of and seem to have a well rounded graphics...animation, textures, character models. Don't get all hissy about your favorite game.

The game that didn't make the list and the reasons why.

Halo 3 - Haven't seen enough real single player footage.

Liar - Bad textures and poor looking human character models

MGS4 - Bad textures

Assasians Creed - Not seen enough of the whole game yet.

Killzone 2 - Really bad textures (they get an A for keeping the lights out to cover it up, but it still shows)

Seriously, I'm not a fan of Halo, but considering the series only launched last gen, and gameplay has hardly changed since then, I would think the sequels would be very similar to the original. The trilogy involves one continuous story, so what do you expect the sequels to be? Upgrades. It shouldn't be a different game. It should contain everything that fans liked about it, plus extra features they would like.

If you want my opinion on the series, I think it's a fun, mindless shooter with a very nice presentation and a functional but decent at best storyline. Overrated? In my opinion, yes. In yours, maybe not.

It's all opinion, but it's the sheer hatred that astounds me. The Halo hate is irrational on this forum, in that people hate it for the stupidest reasons, and make the stupidest criticisms.

Rugby is a wuss game compared to MMA fight. so I don't see why people keep on shouting how "brutal" it is.

"soccer" as you yankees call it, is fast paced, its not our fault ur teams arent that good. watch a Champions league game, a Barça VS Madrid, or a Chelsea Vs Man U game for examples and tell me their not fast paced.
