That might be Berserk, the main character loses a hand in a fight and it becomes a crossbow/cannon.
There is something called build up, besides if you don't like waiting you can read the manga.

I don't understand how people sit through anime honestly. I mean they take about 2-5 minutes of reading and make it over 20 minutes long. I just get incredibly bored watching them. The only time I like anime better than manga is for fights and gags like Bobobo.
Even stuff like sports manga where you would expect the anime to be more entertaining, I find manga better. I mean reading Hajime no Ippo and Slam Dunk is so much more fun than watching it in my opinion.
thanks pal, thats beserk indeed, thats the name. i have seen very slight of that anime and its action is superb. by the way ain't manga also supposed to be like fat animes? like astroboy? or even initial d? not the b&w manga comic i am talking about manga art like anime art.
forgot to mention that the only mangas i have ever ready is initial d only some few ones in that, i do not really like colorless comic type mangas, but its still has a nice feel to reading them, by the way are mangas better viewed in image viewers is there some special apps for them to read?
thank you all for the information, i did checked naruto last night, only one half of first episode on youtube and looking that wolf into hero has got me a feeling that series has over the top anime/manga action. i did watched a slight of bleach once somewhere a longtime ago and it impressed me, anything with a sword in the anime is what i like the most. samurai ninja action that is. what is arc anyways? episodes? looks like i will eventually check them all, i will download the very first episodes of all 3 and get the general idea.

as most or all of you know that i just joined here and also bought the internet connection, first things i have started doing are downloads, i got tons to download for. i am also gonna put my own website about my seo services soon and i also have joined websites like the free lancer for online jobs available, now with the internet being a place of both business and pleasure which way do you like to use internet for? i think most people on the net watches porn, then the other most watches entertainment stuff and finally a lot of people like here do forum postings and stuff, but is it possible to do it all via time management? for e.g. once i download the insane long list of games i will busy playing on my ps2 so i wonder what should i download next, i recently downloaded initial d stage 4 and looking forward to more japanese anime. meanwhile i am also looking for job posting my samples to please clients, and right now at 11.12 pm here at night i just posted this topic. internet is a time consuming activity.
