@Suikogaiden I wouldn't say all that but white men certainly have controlled the world for a very long time. I can't think of a time when it was a bad thing to be a white male.

Hopefully the government will take gun regulations this seriously in the future. It's ridiculous that the ATF has no power to track gun seller's inventory, yet they pass more laws on video game sale regulations.

@thenephariouson People were pissed off. The guy who shot him wasn't even arrested until people and news started to make a stink about it.

In the case of Joe Horn, he got away with murder because of the law.

@thenephariouson Yea, gun related murders rarely get anything more than local coverage. The last time I can remember one murder making national headlines was when Trayvon Martin was killed.

@thenephariouson I think in this particular case he was insane. However you have a point that easy access to assault rifles helped make shooting up a school one of his "options."

Mass shootings aside, we still average about 30 gun related deaths per day. About half of them are suicides and the homicides (i think) are more common with handguns. The issue of gun violence here in the States is complicated, the psychos aren't even the main problem.
