This isn't a trophy, its an achievement, but same concept.

Gears of War 2's "Seriously 2.0" required you to get 100,000 kills. Granted it was spread across Campaign, co-op, and Multiplayer, but still...

I've been playing the game for quite a while and I have like 7,000 kills.

I think its way too soon. I just bought a ps3!

I REALLY hope MS doesn't annouce the xbox 3/720, because that would pressure Sony into releasing new console.

I would be so happy if MW3 was xbox 360 exclusive! Though not for the reason you might expect...

I am a PS3 owner and if MW3 weren't on the PS3 then the community for other (better) games like Uncharted and Battlefield would increase durastically.

And please no flame war about me being a PS3 owner on the x360 forum. I'm here because I like and respect both consoles...

Battlefield 3 (fps) and Uncharted 3 (tps) are both highly anticipated games being released later this year (Uncharted is November 1st, Battlefield I'm not sure).

Hmmm.....hmmmm....(checks calender).....hmmm.....

Do you think Sony even feels it anymore when they lie or are they just numb to it at this point?

Zoomer30

They lied?

Sony never claimed the store would be back up by the 23rd. That was a rumor. Sony did claim that they are aiming for the store to be back up by the end of May, so we'll see how that goes. Speaking of which, by the way, note that they are only aiming for that date. It could take longer (and shouldn't be considered a lie) or it could come sooner. Who knows.

For shooters, I like 'open linearity', if that makes sense. Basically still linear, as in "Get from point A to point B", but includes a wide open space between point A and point B that allows for options. An example of this is Crysis 1. In that game there would be a basic path you had to follow (it wasn't open world, there were boundaries) but the path was very wide open and allowed for frontal assaults, flanking, stealth, ect. I'm not a huge fan of either complete open world or complete linearity though. For example, Far Cry 2 was a shooter with a complete open world and I wasn't too keen on it. On the linearity side, Gears of War and Call of Duty both are very linear without providing much options in the way of choosing how to fight your enemies.
I always thought the ending to Armageddon was pretty sad:

TommyWieseau81

Are you serious?
Bruce Willis
dying was the best thing that happened in that film.

LOL, perhaps I should've gone more in depth to justify why I think it's sad. If anything, I was just going for something different than what everyone else is posting :) but i know, i know: Michael Bay - all flash no substance

Anyways it wasn't his death that I thought was sad, it was mainly the music combined with the ending in general. I don't know why, but Armageddon's score always makes me a little sad. Having it combined with the ending of the movie (it could've been any movie really) just hit me in an undescribable way. Despite Armageddon being only a decent movie, you have to admit the soundtrack was absolutely amazing. Just listen to this (best part starts around 0:54) :

You wanna know what recent movie actually almost made me cry? The ending of Toy Story 3 LOL :( It was my childhood all being wrapped up

Truely a sad thought.
