Yeah but it's they way Sony is doing it. We all know the first cost break was a designed scam in sorts becuase it was doing nothing more then lowering stock only to go right back to the $600 for the 80 GIG.
Now Sony is cleary doing this same BS by not launching the controller now so they can rake the consumer againg in a few months.
Right, but the elite, premium with HDMI, core with with HDMI, over priced wifi adaptor, overpriced HDD aren't "raking the consumer" either? Both MS and Sony have milked people alot this gen.
Maybe it's just me, but the UT's game have always been better on the PC. I'd be happy if it comes out for the PS3 this year, but IMO it's a better Pc game.
I still have my Ps2 and I use that for my Ps2 games. I think they might be refering to the EE chip being removed and having PS2 games rum by emulation software. Who knows until Sony makes an official announcement. If they do announce the Ps2 is going to $99, I"m getting a new one. I've had my Ps2 since 01 and it's still working, but for a slimmer one at $99, thats a steal.
Midway is warning stock holders the game might be delayed until early 08. Mean while, Epic is saying there going to try to get it out before 08, in later Dec. maybe. Final answer? no one knows for sure, but to stay safe, I think it's delayed until early 08
