$60 gives you a network crash because they didn't plan enough for the demand of this game, which they should of known would be killer on their servers

People who bought a PS3, early in it's lifecycle were hoping those killer AAAAAAAAAAAA games would be released by now. Has it been slow as a PS3 owner? Yes it has. Mutli-plats being delayed, games not living up to the Sony's own hype. People seem to forget that it's only been a freakin' year! MS in is year two with the 360. People are use to developing for it. They've had time to get there first party games ready and released. People need to relax. I hate saying it but really, 2008 will be the year to get a Ps3 because all of the bigger games will be out, plus there is expected to be another price drop. People just need to claim the hell down and relax. The first year for a console is never the greatest.

I would of got Stranglehold for the Ps3 but it's been delayed again according to which web site you go to, so, looks like another week of saving money for Novemeber AKA month I go broke.

Good for Microsoft for forcing you to pay. Obviously people are willing to pay and Microsoft takes advantage of that.

Why not take some extra cash out of people's pockets if they won't fight over it?

Thompsonwhore

I'm willing to pay because I'm getting value for me money.

What are you getting?

Because the only thing you get from upgrading from Silver to Gold is the ability to play multiplayer. Peer to Peer multiplayer at that. Overlooking the fact that any multiplayer should be free.

I get the ability to play with my friends world wide and it's super easy also. Not all Ps3 games can do that easily. That is more than enough value for me

What's so difficult about doing it on the PS3?

You add a friend by their tag in Live.

You add a friend by their tag in PSN.

The only thing that's potentially difficult is finding the game your friend is in.

Not to mention PC has been doing it free for... a couple decades now?

I guess some people will pay for anything.

It is not hard to see what your friendsare playing on the PSN. When your signed in you can see what games your friends are playing on the PSN through the XMB

I think I did a 6 hour long gaming session of GTA: VC when that came out.
