Halo 2, in my opinion it is way overrated sequal to an okay game and there are far better shooters out there. sean4566yep, console players go crazy boutt he halo series because tis pretty much the only good FPS series on console (back when the 2 games were released). But when you compare any console fps series withany pc fps series, well, pc wins :P

[QUOTE="greatmax1"]is it just me, or is the bottom right guy in the last picture raping doctor mossman...?indzman
HeHe:lol: i thought so too :P
but, is that it? or dowe see imaginary rape scene :|have you actually tried going on the forums? and tried using an older driver or this new optimized for bioshock driver?
lol, people with lower specs arent getting better framerates than me at same settings that's total bullcrap because there's nothing wrong with my computer period, it's called sloppily ported xbox360 game, poorly optimized for pc hardware.ps3rulezzggdffok then, youre right, blame it on the game, but whatever you do, DONT TRY TO GO ON THE OFFICIAL FORUMS AND TRY TO FIND A SOLUTION, NOOOOO, INSTEAD, YOU MUST STAY HERE AND CONVINCE US THAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE NOT GETTING BETTER PERFORMANCE THAN YOU, AND THAT ITS A CRAPPY PORT. You know, when i have a problem and want it to be fixed, i usually dont argue with the people that are trying to help me.... maybe you should try that.

gotta be sloppy coding, i doubt if i had a dualcore fps would be much better, i was running 2.4 ghz and getting 22 fps near fire then overclocked to 300 mhz to 2.7 and no fps change wtf lol.

Its not sloppy coding :|somethng is wrong with your pc.. Go to the official forums....
no it's sloppy coding, because all my other video games run perfectly and match the benchmark numbers on fear and half life and crap doom3.
the game still feels smooth at 22 fps, i guess people dont notice they getting as low as fps they are and just exaggerating.
dude, i just reformated 2 times to make sure, double checked everything, it's definitly the game's poor coding.
If you knew anything about pcs you would realize that some games use different technologies that are tremendouslly different.. Because as it stands the game by many consider it one of the best optemized coding out there.. As I say agian GO TO THE OFFICIAL forums tech support and see if its a common problem..
there's nothing else it could be man, there's nothing wrong with my set up, im getting the same numbers as www.firingsquad.com fear benchmarks and stuff man, so there's definitly nothing wrong it's just crap coding that's all.
Your a fool, stop posting on these forums.. If you want the problem solved go to a tech support instead of bashing something you do not understand.. It does not matter if other games perform well, firstly the game has higher requiresment then any game you stated.. SECONDLY just because your getting great performance in one game does not mean you will get great performance in another.. There are multiple things that could be causing the slowdown.. As I said again GO TO THE TECH FORUMS AT THE OFFICIAL site.
lol, stop posting man, you cant even spell optimized correctly.
i made this thread to see what people are getting in beggining of the game when they fire come up for air after plane crash near all fire.
Ad Hominem ftw.. How bout you actually do what I say and go to the offcial tech forums.. Because people with lower specs then you have been getting better performance.. Infact the vast majority of people have been saying this is the best optemized engine out there.. Not saying there isn't anything wrong with the engine but it could be a very simple setting change thats unnoticable in the INI that will give you great performance.. Because in the end if you don't all your doing is crying.
lol, where's the proof people with lower specs are getting better fps at same graphical settings and resolutions as me? dude I JUST INSTALLED WINDOWS XP AND INSTALLED UPDATED TO EVERY NEW DRIVER, it's the goddamn game piece of crap sloppily ported 360 game that's all to it. im not a computer noob buddy.
hey guy, would you please try either some older drivers for your graphics card, and go to the official tech forums. Also, the proof that people are getting good performance with lower end systems is here int he forums, thats like the only threads we have seen from 4 pm yesterday to now.[QUOTE="ps3rulezzggdff"]damn my 7800 GTX cannot be that weak.
gotta be sloppy coding, i doubt if i had a dualcore fps would be much better, i was running 2.4 ghz and getting 22 fps near fire then overclocked to 300 mhz to 2.7 and no fps change wtf lol.

Your computer doesn't meet the recommended requirements for Bioshock. You can't run it on max, sry.
On topic, I do have some problems with framerates, mostly consistency, my X2 4200+ 2GB 8800gtx goes from 80fps to 25 fps and back alarmingly often, usually during fights.
the demo readme mentioned some problems with amd dualcore processors. I also am getting performance i am not totally happy with, but when a tweakguide is released soon i guess ill just tune the files to make it run good. I also noticed that this game runs good for low end computers, and it also runs good for high end computer ( the key word here is "good", meaning that most systems play at pretty much the same fps. )
