I love fighting games but get MGS4! I'm telling you it's more bang for your buck, the replay value is high, it's always a different experience.

I wonder if there's a default assigned letter to unformatted PS3 HDD, have you called a support line or PS3 tech to see if there's such a thing like that?

did you happen to lose power in your room while the ps3 was trying to save to the HDD, that can corrupt your HDD. Maybe you can't get the HDD to work on the 40gig because the 20 and 60gig versions are backwards compatible with the PS1 and PS2, my be a factor but i don't know.

So you're saying that the 60gig and 40gig HDD on the Ps3's are assigned to it and you can't get it to assign to a different one(60gig or 40gig switched). Maybe you can't install OEM HDD that came with the PS3 to another one. If you have a pc, have you tried transferring your saved data to it in a file and then transfer that to a flash drive and insert the flash drive into the PS3 and try to see if it can retrieve the data if it's not protected.

Go for Uncharted, i finished the game a month ago and it's a real good game. The sound, graphics, control, and storyline are really good plus they have unlockables to keep you playing over and over. Dark Sector price is getting cheaper and cheaper, GET UNCHARTED!!!!

I've been buying nothing but Blu-Rays after I got a PS3, I watch both on my PS3 but mostly Blu-Rays.

Nope, one would just do fine. Money is power, 360 is the leading next gen console, 3rd parties make games for the 360 1st exclusively because it's more of them out there so that means more copies would sell. After the game sells good money is made and they will develop the same game for the PS3 and make more money. If you have patience go with the PS3, if you don't have patience go for the 360. I think the PS3 is a better choice, 360 keeps adding to their system to keep up with it(PS3): HDMI, larger HDDs, external HDDVD player(to match Blu-Ray). There will be demands for bigger next gen games and the PS3 suits it well, 360 will be lagging behind in the future(not enough capacity). For example, MGS4 will probably never be on the 360. MGS4 maxed out the whole blu ray disc, production cost will be too much for the 360, probably need 5-6 disc to run the game. You think Konami is up for that?
