Guys...Look not everyone thinks alike. We all perceive things differently. We should not be afraid to ask the hard questions. We all have different points of view and different experiences.

When racism is discussed there are people who vehemently deny that it exists. Guess what it does, but not always consciously. Oprah recently aired a show where she had done surveys or tests that proved people were unaware of their prejudices and how they thought about other cultures.

I think this Resident Evil 5 thing is getting out of hand but that's not to say that racism does not exist elsewhere.

Am I alone here, or are there other people who cannot understand what the die-hard fanaticism surounding the Halo universe is all about??!!

Sure, it's a great shooter. A juggernaut of a franchise, to be blunt. But there's a lot of great games out there...

To be honest, I'm more excited about Mass Effect, and to a lesser extent, Bioshock.

Yeah, I'll pick up Halo3 for the single-player campaign; then, I'll try out the multiplayer, get frustrated with the people online, and go out to buy Half-Life2: the Orange Box.

I don't want to get into a Master Chief vs. Gordon Freeman argument here, but I just happened to have a far more engrossing experience playing HL2 on PC a couple years ago, then I did trudging through Halo2... that's all I'm saying.

If anything, I look forward to Halo3 simply as a finale to the series; and maybe, just maybe, we'll begin to realize that a walking, talking suit-of-armor-with-no-personality is not the definitive epitome of videogaming culture.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go watch one of those GTA4 trailers again.
