@minhdoananh This wasn't supposed to finish the BIA storyline. However, when this game was first announced Randy Pitchford said that they would continue to tell Bakers story in the actual BIA games.
I usually purchase games new, however in order to afford to purchase the large number of games that are released during the holiday season I have to sell a good chunk of my old games. If I could no longer sell my old games, than I would be able to purchase maybe 1/4 of the games I purchase now. I think the same goes for a lot of people. The industry could very well "fall apart" without used games.
I've always preferred consoles to playing on a PC. However I can only listen to Sony and Microsoft state they don't believe new hardware is necessary at this time, and this generation still has plenty of life left before I get fed up and jump ship. I'm tired of watered down PC ports!!
@Madball357 I agree that game is more realistic than most others. At the same time I've always felt it was a bit ironic that people want extreme realism, and yet one of the things a lot of people criticized the game the most for (the latest entry) was the excessively long jeep rides from one point to another with nothing really happening except for listening to ramblings and cursing, when that was probably the most realistic part of the game. My point is no game can be truly realistic, otherwise once shot you would be carried out on a stretcher and then you would never be able to play the game again because your character would be either dead or be too critically wounded to continue fighting (especially if shot multiple times in the chest). The pacing of the two games is also very different, and like I said previously, regenerating health helps with the pacing that Warfighter is trying to achieve.
What would make the game more realistic? Picking up magic health packs that instantly cure you after being shot multiple times to the chest is not any more realistic. It is unrealistic to make a realistic military shooter. Video games are supposed to be fun to play. War is not fun, it's just horrible. I like regenerating health because it keeps the action moving at a good pace. I've never really cared for backtracking and hunting down medkits, it feels tedious.
Thank you Pr0ving4Gr0undz !! I completely agree with you. I think the main reason most people talk about how much they already hate this game is simply because it's called "Call of Duty".
