I really, REALLY HATE the little x hitmarkers that have been added to the campaign! I can understand the need for them in multiplayer, but in single player it's REALLY distracting. The enemy reacts to getting hit just fine. They didn't add the markers to the zombie mode, so I don't understand why after 8 games of no hitmarkers in the campaign they felt this one needed it. I know to most it's not a big deal, but it's really annoying to me. I wish they would at least have the option of turning them off like in Max Payne 3. End of irrational rant.
I've been playing AC3 on the ps3 for since launch, and while I love the game, it has soooo many glitches and bugs that it becomes nearly unplayable at times. I played all the previous AC games on the 360 and they had nowhere near as many glitches and bugs. I was wondering if anyone with a 360 version could tell me if the 360 version runs any better. I'm tired of riding wagons into mountains, getting stuck inside trees, and failing missions because I've been spotted by a dead person (this has happened more than once).
I've heard the game starts out fairly slow, but picks up later.
Yeah the frame rate does drop a bit on ps3. Nothing game breaking so far though. I havn't played the 360 version so I don't know if it's any better.
The more you know...
Check out Saving Private Ryan. Or The Hurt Locker. Both great movies that will really bring the War of 1812 to life for you.

This made me laugh so freakin' hard :)
I know!! The muzzle flashes look REALLY bad. I find it weird that they improved everything else about the game, and then destroyed the muzzle flash. It can be really distracting at times. I'm hoping maybe they'll patch it.
There are a lot of puzzles and secret doors in doom and doom 2. Sometimes they're hidden really well. Check your map, because sometimes it will show the locations of doors that you otherwise might overlook. Hope this helps :)

Like Call of Duty, this game is judged by its multiplayer. If all you play is single then I pity you. Heck, why even bother with the single player aspect in games like this. Just give me a disk full of multiplayer content. Maybe a short traininig mission so I can get use to the controls.

The reason is because many people prefer playing the single player and don't really care for the multiplayer. Different people like different things. This is why many games have multiple difficulty settings for example. You need not pity the people who like different things then you.
Few, not many. Few prefer. Or at least a minority. Don't think you're in the majority.More people than you think.
