my preference has always been single player but i realize that mp is becoming more important.....my beloved assassins creed has even fallen to the pressure of having multiplayer.....for me assassins creed 2 was a masterpiece and it restored my faith in the single player game experience......i think the upcoming AC:brotherhood will take something away but again the pressure of having multiplayer and making money off maps i think was too compelling. to answer your question.....for me it's all about single player.

FEAR, i still have to find a FPS with better AI (then again, i don't play FPS), i like how in FEAR, enemies weren't just targets, they feel very real.

i pose this question because i've been playing the original crackdown to get a feel for the game before i bought crackdown 2. i was really surprised at how smart and sometimes challenging the AI was in the game. the enemies take cover, they dodge my bullets but the smartest thing i've seen them do is when i try to drive and hit them with a car they always "smartly" move out of the way instead of just being an easy target.

I'm curious to know what games you think have smart or challenging AI.

[QUOTE="gshell"]

i'm having a blast online but i'm getting my assed kicked mostly because you have to have a fast car.....there is no matching of levels in split/second so if you have car rated at 4 and racing someone at like 10 it will be hard to compete. but i think a lot of people playing online just bought all the unlocked cars from psn.

also picking up BLUR. played the online demo on my 360 and was totally blown away.....will be getting for ps3 though

SadPSPAddict

I think you're right about the cars - too many people seem to have the top ones for ALL of them to have played it through. I have put a lot of time into it since Friday and am still only a bit past half way through the season! Won't be buying the cars though!!

I'm getting Blur this friday on the PS3 as well - also looks a blast :)

thank you for being an honorable gamer. if feel the same way. i will earn my cars not buy them
