I was sort of hit by that towards the end of summer, as far as the actual Wii disc games. De Blob and Wario: Shake It were a good one-two punch that put an end to that though. The WiiWare and VC games have been stronger than ever though. Even if you have everything that was released on the VC, you still have Tetris Party, World of Goo, the Art Style games, MegaMan 9, and Bomberman. If none of those appeal to you I'm not really sure what to tell you. For any shortages that the Wii has had, I think the downloadable games alone do a nice job of making up for them.

you made some good points. some of the games you listed i am interested in and haven't played like world of goo and de blob.

:(......i bought my wii earlier this year around june and i was loving it. i love wii sports and i love no more heroes, bw2, zak & wiki and super mario galaxy. even some of the wiiware titles were cool. but after that i haven't touched my wii in like 3 months. people kept telling me "yo man, that novelty is going to wear off". i didn't believe them then but i have to say that it's true. the novelty has worn off.

don't get me wrong i'm not at the point that i'm gonig to trade/sell my wii (at least not yet) but it's hard for me to stay committed when so many of the games that are out there really don't take full advantage of the wii controls. i mean that is why i bought it. soo many of the games that are on the wii either use or can use more traditional controls which makes me think what is the point. :(

i think i've hit the WII WALL.

i was on the eternal sonata website because i'm thinking about getting the ps3 version. i noticed a section on the website for registering your version of the game. i have never in my life filled out that post card thing that usually comes packed with games or gone on-line to register any game i've purchased. am i missing something by not doing that?

don't know the last time some of you guys went to your friendly neighborhood gamestop but i was talking to my boy who is a manager at a gstop and he said cbs came in and installed all these hdtv's and now they show commercials for shows and stuff.

i hope cbs doesn't start doing weird stuff with this idea. i preferred the ebgames model to the gstop model but i've learned to adjust with the merger. personally i go to gspot to shop for games and i get plenty of commercials at home. i don't need to be sold on anything else.

i'm an older gamer who fell out of gaming and then returned so i missed out on kid icarus. i keep hearing so much about this character so i figured i would ask from those people who were there in that moment. i mean what was the impact of kid icarus when it was released? was it considered a really good game or did it just have a niche following? just curious. i just want to know what kid icarus was about.
