The Gamecube controller was awesome.

They only thing wrong was it didn't have preassure sensitive buttons.

Well, this my story. I have played video games since the SNES, but never OWNED a console until now ( I wont tell you wwhich console I have until later in this post). I had a GBA, and some games which where horribly underaprecciate, like Golden Sun, which was one of the best games I have ever played. I had the classic games, of course, like pókemon ruby and fire emblem. But I did aprecciate titles like Yoshis Island, which where awesome. But then I had a twist in my gaming related world,and i got a Wii. yeah complain. This is my library: SMG, MP3, TlOZ TP, NFS Carbon, Mario Strikers Charged, Call of DUty 3 and upcoming guitar hero 3. yeah, im probably a casual but read this argument:

Having diffferent tastes does not make you a hardcore. You will say that its your opinion , and that its not right, but your whole argument is based on that you like games that people dont really know about so that makes you hardcore. Yeah that your main point: liking underhyped games makes you hardcore, and just because you investigate about hyped games or even buy them, that makes you a casual because you follow the crowd. Well, that not really valid. Look at me, my library is composed of mainly hyped titles, but I consider myself hardcore( well, or something in betwwen). I investigate, I check ratings to see which games are worth my money ( I just dont call myself hardcore because I have the 3 consoles) and I post opinions. I am avtive in the gaming world, and know about classics and enjoy them too. I really have inmersed mysaelf in the gaming world, and I think that thats what makes you hardcore. WHen gaming is just not to play, but to be involved in it. also, I see a point in your argument saying that casuals dont have tastes cause they follow the crowd. Well, i do have tastes, its just that i havent found a good RPG for the Wii...

I think that the reall definition of casual is someone who sees a console not like a gaming device, but as a toy, and buys games thats just looked cool on the ad, if you know what I mean. for example, someone sees the SMG add and says OMG this game looksvery good because the guys in the add are enjoying it and is sellign well thats a casual.but if someone sees the add and says: this looks good, i have liked mario since mario bros, and it looks revolutionary. Ill go rent it first to see how it is. That doesnt make you hardcore, but at least differentiates you from a casual. Thats just my opinion.

To end this post, I am going to say something else. This may conflict with my other paragraph saying that I am something betwwen casual and hardcore , in which i Label myself as something. I think that hardcores want to do a division to then look and say: the video game market is changing just because those casuals have gotten into it. They want to make divisions to make them feel like they are the only ones aporting something to the gaming world, whereas everybody that plays games is doing so, even casuals.

And, my friends, Thats my two cents ( i always wanted to use this expression :))

I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty sure that there are probably more Wiis being shipped than PS3s and 360s combined.

Eh, I can say for sure you're wrong. I know this as a fact. Don't have a link right now, but I'm posotive they're producing fewer consoles than Microsoft(360), and I think fewer than Sony(PS3). The funny part? It's the easiest console to build out of the 3. Least advanced hardware.

If Nintendo is producing fewer consoles, then this just shows how pathetic the 360 and PS3 are since absolutely no one is buying their consoles. In fact, it's funny that you're trying to claim that they're not producing as much when the Wii has been outselling the other two every month for the last year except for the month of September.

Yeah, I guess both MS and Sony have not lost enough billions of dollars that they can afford to continue making more consoles than Nintendo when they're not selling as well. That's a smart strategy... or what is definitely more likely the case is that you don't really know what you are talking about.

Face the cold, hard facts.

Cows and lemmings will never admit the Wiiis owning, even if you gave them some good third party gamesand showing them the Wii is getting the most third party support. Face it. Nintendo owns your pretty consoles with innovative gameplay. Look at all the good games we have ( SMG, MP3, MArio KArt WIi coming up, SSBB coming up, TP, and a whole lot more) and the good and strong third party titles ( MOHH2. Trauma Center: New Blood, GH3, ROck Band coming soon, Zack and WIki, no more heroes coming soon, etc). SO why dont you cows and lemmings try to face the facts instead of givin gopinions and ecuses that the wii is killing gaming.
