[QUOTE="gun65"][QUOTE="MgamerBD"] When you give 4 years of your life to the government you should expect anything and everything. Basic training is mental and physical abuse. When/if you join you should expect it. k?MgamerBD
What? have you ever heard of the ucmj? it prevents pretty much all of this. No, signing up for the military does not entail abuses, heck in my branches basic training they can't so much as lay a finger on you and you can't even touch another recruit for any reason.
But after you got of basic...was people still people? Or were they robotic super soldiers? That is the answer your response. The ucmj applies even after basic so all of this is still illegal. you don't have to subject yourself to abuses in the military at anytime.

[QUOTE="StRaItJaCkEt36"]Nope, not me. The people involved n the industrial military complex should be taking care of the veterans. You know the millionaires and billionaires that ask them to go to war. As a citizen of the United States of America, I never requested that anyone be sent to war, or even join the military. Why should I be responsible for them? and joining the military doesn't entitle you to employment after you've left the military.BossPerson
Because as a citizen of the U.S you automatically enjoy the benefit of being protected by its military so you can write this post of why you shouldn't be responsible for helping the very same people.
cut the nonsense man. Get real. What is fighting a war in Afghanistan and Iraq gonna help people with their freedom of speech? I dont have anything against American soldiers, it just people constantly use these mantras without actually thinking about the reality. Theyre not "fighting for our freedom"alright, so we obviously have no need of a military since no one out there would like to hurt america or her citizens in anyway. I'll cut the nonsense when you do.
[QUOTE="commonfate"][QUOTE="MgamerBD"] You never heard the saying "You reap what you sow". I meant once the guy joined the army he had to take into account that he had to do 4 years no matter what. That he could either be shot, bullied, or killed. He had to deal with the consquences of his decison.MgamerBD
He should not have to think about the probability of being bullied (I'm sure he didn't). This isn't a simple matter of name calling. He was physically abused. That should never be something to think into consideration.
