My dad was a total jerk before he moved out. Alcoholic, abusive (verbally), manipulative, power hungry. Now he's desperate to "make up" with me. But he usually ends up guilt tripping me and reverting back to his old ways. You can only feel bad for someone for until they start using it to control you. He always causes me stress when I'm around him and I can't deal with that right now.
My mom, on the other hand, is the most fantastic person on the planet.

Yes techincally it was a tie. The Brits burned washington and while they celebrated that a tornado came out of nowhere and made them leave the city as I recall. Also the battle of New Orleans (which actually happened after the treaty was signed) was a pretty impressive victory for the U.S

The question was somewhat unfair.Due to God saying "For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD." You asked him to explain the ways of a being who is not like us, not to mention infinitley superior to us.
