This game has some serious bugs. No question it needs improvement, but at it's core, it's not a bad game. But what is really missed here is that for $30 you get TWO versions of the game that can both be played at the same time by two different people together. One on PC and one on Xbox One. Who else is doing that? Play Anywhere is one of the best innovations in gaming. Give them time to fix it, though it seems like this is the new normal for us to be paying beta testers...
Someone mentioned the flickering horizontal line across the screen. I didn't notice it at first, but I have it as well. Game is much better once you understand the little things they don't explain very well in the tutorial. I couldn't figure out at first why people were leaving. I didn't realize there was a mission tied to getting them to stop whining. I was just trying to find whatever they were complaining about. Check your map often. Biggest bug I found is tied to sneaking and being over-encumbered. If I dropped something to make room for something else and later picked it up while crouched down, I would get stuck in that position with my melee weapon out, but couldn't use it. Or use any other button. Pretty much have to quit if alone or change to a companion. Hopefully this doesn't happen during a mission. Haven't played it on Xbox yet, so no idea if the bugs translate. Update: Will give this game a rest until patches are released. Too hard to enjoy while this buggy.
For $20 out of pocket I can take a chance. Microsoft rewards is paying for the other $10. It's free money. They have paid for my last two years of Xbox live.
