Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway - Real experience of war

Hey guys its been a while since my last blog post , im working a lot and its cosuming all my time, but im back.

This posting is o talk about teh sequel of, for me, the great WWII game ever made, that will be realese tomorrow!!!

Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway
Developer: Gearbox Software
Publisher: Ubisoft
Release Date: September 23rd
Genre: First-Person Shooter

What to Expect: The Brothers in Arms games have been giving us a different perspective on the normally tired World War II genre for a while now, first introducing us to Matt Baker in Road to Hill 30 and Joe Hartsock in Earned in Blood and then slowly expanding the theatre of war to include actual historical battles. In the case of Hell's Highway, that's painting a semi-accurate picture of the events of Operation Market Garden. Hell's Highway isn't just a next-gen version of the previous games, however; significant attention has been paid to making the gulf between the games and the Band of Brothers mini-series that much smaller, with a heavier cinematic presentation and even more story details.

For those keeping track, that makes the third proper Brothers in Arms game far more movie-like than previous efforts, and this extends to just about all parts of the game, right down to finally being able to draw a bead on someone and squeeze off a shot without just making them a little freaked out. Hooray for progress!

MY ADVICE IS TO TRY IT AND EXPERIENCE WHAT A REAL WAR LOOK LIKE!

Worse than 3RL!!

After some months without post im come back to tell what happened!

I own a xbox 360 console as you guys know, and few months ago while playing GTA4, my game freezed, than my console stop to working showing 3 red lights.

So my world just fell down, i thought that the worse problem that happens with a 360 just happened to me, but for my luck i still has my warranty up and ready to use. I thought with myself, thanks God that microsoft extended the warranty for 3rl up to three years!

I sent my console to microsoft and start to count days to get it back and restart to play my games but they come with the great news ever. The problem with my console was not 3rl but oxidation!! I leave by the beach and the see breeze and the weather probably broke up my console! But the great news is that my warranty did not cover this kind of issue and worse they could not fix it even if a pay.

They told me if i realy want to play XBOX 360 games again i would have to buy another console. So as a good Xbox 360 addicted i did it!!! :) AND IM BACK!!

So guys this post is more than just a blog post but a warning. If you leave by the beach take double care of your console. When you are not playing keep it envolved in plastic or something like that!!

Im very happy to came back to blog and hope to keep post interesting stuff to you all.

See you soon!

VIDEO GAME does not build Killers!

Videogame doesn´t change someone in a killer!!

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Play video games doesn´t change childrens in dangerous and bloody killers, it is what says a new book wrote by 2 researchers of Harvard University at the United States. Lawrence Kutner and Cheryl Olson, research couple ta Harvard Medical School, explained you research in a book called "Grand Theft Childhood: The Surprising Truth About Violent Video Games and What Parents Can Do" , released last moth and that promissed give us a new look about video games and their efect at the kids.

"What i hope that the people understand is that there isn´t information enough to sustain fears that viedeo game cause violence", said Kutner to Reuters. The couple took this conclusion after researching over 2 years with more than 1,2 thousand students about their behaviour while playing video games.

It was a diferent pocedure because they did not use lab experiences like make loud sounds for mesure agression

"What we did rarely has being made by other researcers, we just talked with the kids. Souds like bizare but it never been made before", explained Kutner.

They discovered that play video game is nowadays an activity between people that became a social act.

Kutner e Olson says that they need more time of research to point for sure if violent games create violence or violent people are atracted for violent games.

So after all the research there isn´t a clue that vinculate violence with video games, leaving us with one realy great responsibiliy: We have to keep playing a lot, loving our game friends an game enemys, because its up to us prove that video game is very good for kids and for all the human kind!

Woooot! Some news about Gears of War 2!

According a article published on NeoGaf forums, the basic gameplay of Gears will return in the sequel. The familiar sticky cover system will be back but slightly tweaked to make it harder to hit characters hiding behind stone walls, barricades or whatever else litters the battlefield.

Many of the first game's weapons will return, and active reloads will be back with minor (undisclosed) alterations. As many Gears watchers predicted, chainsaw duels will now be part of the experience, and a smattering of new weapons will be included, too. The article specifically mentions poison grenades (oh, the multiplayer possibilities) and something called a Gorgon burst pistol. If it's anywhere near as sweet as the Boltok pistol from the first game, we'll take three.

Much of the piece focuses on Gears of War 2's technical advances, which appear to be plentiful. Gamers who followed Epic's GDC appearance will be familiar with the terms "ambient occlusion" and "soft-body physics." Yes, they'll be included, as will hordes of independently animated on-screen enemies, advanced cinematic lighting and bumped-up water effects, all part of the new newest version of Unreal Engine 3.

The GI article is thin on multiplayer details, but the mag does confirm that a re-imagined version of the Gridlock map from the first game will be back. Co-op play will return and, in keeping with current trends, will allow players to drop-in and out of games dynamically. In a change from Gears of War, the sequel will allow each player to choose different difficulty levels in a co-op game, and those choices will affect each player's experience when the team splits up.

Gears 2 will also add a difficulty level at the low end of the scale that promises to make the sequel even more approachable for casual gamers, but the higher difficulty settings will remain "truly devastating," GI says.

We still don't know much about the sequel's storyline, which Epic promises will be more fleshed-out that its predecessor, which had something to do with Emergence Day, some dudes with guns and emulsion.

Delta Squad is split up when the sequel opens, and at least four new characters will be introduced as the story unfolds. Tai Kaliso is described as a spiritual warrior; Chairman Prescott is Hoffman's dictatorial boss; Dizzy is a Stranded soldier/truck driver; and Maria Santiago is the wife of Marcus Fenix's partner Dom, who embarks on a personal mission to save her in Gears of War 2.

The forced walking scenes that masked load times in the first game have also been replaced with a new system that is apparently more bearable than watching Marcus walk around with his finger in his ear while grunting at the disembodied voice of Anya. She'll play more of a role in the sequel, too, finally getting her face in the action as an image on a video screen.

There's still a lot we don't know about Gears of War 2. Will we fight the Locust Queen? Will the active-reload downing mechanism of the Longshot rifle return? Will multiplayer remain basically the same, or will Epic go for a wildly different setup? So far, CliffyB and crew aren't doling out those details.

SO GUYS WE ONLY HAVE TO DO THE MOST DIFICULT THING WHEN WE´RE TALKING ABOUT GAMES THAT IS WAIT

LOL

...And my 2008 wish list just start to happen...

Hey guys i just did my first step on my wish list, because a just got Dark Sector.

I just start to play it but i can already tell you guys that a very good game, with plenty of action and gore!

You play as a guy who is infected with somethings that i dont know yet that give him some super power and a very cool glaive on his right hand that can be used to for many things and the most important of all is that can be use to make gore (lol).

The glaive!

Anyway its a great game to play, very funny!

I also get Viking: battle for asgard that is a game out of my wish list that surprise me a lot. Its a game based on the viking mythology which you play as a warrior recruited for one of the two goddess who are involved in the war. Its a game based in huge battle with huge armies, so you will be party of really epic battle to get the control of cities and keeps, using the help of mans and dragons that you can recruit playing the game.

Its a kind of game for you to play just to have fun, kill some bad guys and finishing them with great killing moves in slow motion!

the battle!

So guys if you are looking for fun i recommend these two games! Worse to buy them and add them to your collection too!

Another Great Month for the Xbox 360

We are at a great year for the xbox 360, while some ps3 fans keep saing that the microsoft console is dead, we continue to get so many and better games that its impossible to beleave in that. We are at only the beginning of the year and we already have huge games on our hands, and some exclusives like Lost Odyssey!

But anyway i just add to my collection Rainbow six Vegas 2 and Condemned 2: Bloodshot, those are 2 huge games one is the better tactical shooter ever made and the other one revolutionary horror first person game.

Rainbow six brought a real coop game for you play with a friend, so now you can live a hole history, upgrade both characters and have a real motive to call friends for some bears.

And Condemned 2 can take you to some dark places, put you in some very funny hand-to-hand and melee fights, make you really investigate crime scenes and give you some very scary moments. Its a big horror game! Much better than the first one!

So guys dont worry looking for a reason to kill us because you cant kill something immortal! lol

FINALLY - Lost Odyssey

Yesterday finally, after a long wait, arrives in my house, by mail, my copy of Lost Odyssey and one and for all i could start my adenture.

I played my first five hours with almost no stop and i already can tell you guys anoe thing! THEY MADE A MASTERPIECE!

Lost Odyssey is a huge game, better of my all expectations! The hsitory is so immersive and intriguing, the characters is so involving and the gameplay so funny with so many challengers enemys that you just dont wanna to stop play!

For me the game just made a step foward when we talk about japanese turn based RPG.

As soon as i finish it i´ll write a full review for you guys!

But in the meanwhile I already can tell you one thing:

"WHO NEEDS FINAL FANTASY WHEN WE GET LOST ODYSSEY?"

;)
