if you are not healing quickly, then make sure you replenish your glycogen stores after a workout. Do this by eating a hi gi value carb meal, such as ice cream, a soft drink, or anything that is comprised of sugars. Also make sure you are eating enough, as you have to eat like a fat man to build muscle.
