I didn't think the song could be any worse, until I saw this.

That is the worst S*** i have ever seen. WTH is happening to kids these days?!?!? I was brought up listening to led zep at that age... (I was born in mid 80s)
Up here in Boston we have organized crime, unfortunately. Though we have been popularized for Irish mafia, there is a large Italian presence in the North End of Boston. Just arrested a guy called the Big Cheese a year ago or so for racketeering... I don't think its as violent as it used to be however...
I wish they would do something a little different, I don't know what. I remember when the N64 came out and they mailed me a VHS tape that told all about it and showed gameplay etc.. and when I finally got N64 I was so blown away. Does anyone else remember how cool and revolutionary that first play of Mario 64 was? Back in the good old days, when a game didn't last weeks.. it lasted months.

Totally on board with you here. The N64 changed my perception of gaming forever, and since that time I have not had the same sense of awe with the release of a new console... Not sure if I should chalk that up to the age I was at the time, but Nintendo has been notorious in the past for breaking ground. I'm sure with the next console they will accomplish this... But the wii is a great system in terms of gameplay and games... but I cant totally neglect my need for HD graphics....
There ads are truly terrible. I am going to preorder a DS and Im trying to decide where to do it... only reason i consider gamestop is because they are close. but dam at least they could give somewhat of an interesting ad and give a t shirt or something with a preorder... terrib
Great thread. As with all consoles, it takes a bit of time for developers to learn how to fully take advantage of the systems capabilities, so skeptics shouldnt be so soon to sound the alarm. I'm sure that at some point developers will be able to make more "pop out" effects in their games, but the sense of depth is the key IMO. If the games dont pop out at us right away, it doesnt necessarily mean the system cannot support this.
so i guess im not alone here. Chalk it up to lesson learnt next time i go to sell a system... its usually not worth it anyways cuz you always get hosed on buyback/resale
