when is sony and microsoft going to stop trying to do everything that Nintendo does? If they haven't noticed the pretty abysmal sales figures that came from Nintendo recently about their new console then they'd know that it's starting to look like a bit of a flop. You could pretty much put it down to the terrible controller. Gamers don't want to play on a touch screen or pad, it's ridiculous. The days of the casual gamer are starting to grow dim and they'll have to go back to catering for the core gamers. hopefully it's sooner rather than later.
so what happened to this game and why do i have the game that i purchased 3 days ago? Seriously this game looks so different from the one we were given. The hell gearbox?
hey guys thought you might find this interesting. Videogamer did a comparison of the visuals from what we were shown in the demo walkthroughs to what the final product actually looked liked. Now i remember why i was stoked for this game and it also makes me feel a little disappointed as to what actually came out at the end. Enjoy
@ACWH That's what i tried doing but it broke street date in my town, went down to Ebgames (Gamestop in the US and other parts of the world) to get the collectors edition but to find out they were all gone for the PC :( then found out that this game was disappointing. Really glad i hadn't pre ordered the game Bought it while i was there because hey i was down there and it was cheaper on PC anyway. Would've probably avoided it if they review come out a few days earlier. Checked every night hoping to see a review.
Got it this morning, played it, completed it in 5 hours on the second hardest difficulty. It's really a walk through for seasoned FPS players. Has a bit of replay value but other than that kevin's got it pretty right. What's with gearbox doing really nice impressive, polished visuals in some parts and then just nerfing others. (go look at a computer screen in the game they look like something out of half life 1) You'll be finding this one in the bargain bin in a few weeks guys, just hold out for it then and save some cash for crysis 3
About time gearbox got back to the brothers in arms series. I felt like punching Randy for showing us furious 4 and then calling it a brothers in arms game. Don't get me wrong i think that game could be good but it would be such a huge leap from the brothers in arms franchise that i think it would put off a lot of the old fans (I would be finding myself guilty here) and I'm glad it's taking on its own IP.
Looking forward to getting back into the Brothers in Arms story and hoping that everything gets wrapped up nicely for our boys. Now please excuse me while i go and rejoice with a jovial dance in my backyard.
