Killzone has more substance then your average Halo shooter Halo doesn't even have iron sights! I don't give a damn about people having a schoolyard argument about Halo/Gears v Killzone. But really? Iron sights, cover hugging and face-punching is what makes a shooter have substance? Well geegolly guess other games in the genre as are deep and complex and the Mariana Trench by comparison.

In killzone you have to actually play with strategy! Its no call of duty, gears, or halo Not only that, you can slide into cover, you can brutal meele etc That absolutely offers more substance to the game play

Agreed. Game looks great and will probably be AAA on metacritic like KZ2.

Theres no doubt in my mind about it:) Shadow fall looks friggen amazing The demo was also built with 4gb of ram in mind Yet it still looked next gen Sony upped the ram to 8gb of the fastest ram available (thank you Sony) So now imagine how much better Shadow fall is going to be with 8gb of ram? Really excited! Also, the presentation was awesome! After watching it, all I can say is, im so happy to be a playstation fan right now:) You really get the feeling that Sony just wants to put out the best products posible for gamers You can see how passionate and genuine Sony really is about gaming and core gamers Thank you Sony! We do appreciate what you do for us haha! It feels good to know that there can be a good willed company like Sony who really cares about gaming, who gets gaming, and who is trying to give us the best gaming possible Sony is putting a lot of love and excitement into the PS4 and playstation exclusive games And im feeling that as a fan! Makes me so happy to be a playstation fan! The PS4 is a GAMING console built by game developers for gamers! Im supporting the PS4 all the way Mean while lems get charged 60 $ for basic online , get the same gears/halo/forza sequels shoved down their throats on a yearly basis, and by all accounts will be getting a casual Kinect box 720 lol

How can lems of all people even join any convo about "generic" and "shooters". Halo is a bunny hoppin' n00b fest and Gears is the most shallow shooter on the market. The two most unrealistic shooters out there

Generic FPS game, just like all of Killzone's predecessors. Lucky for cows, Bungie is bringing Destiny to them.

Pretty much this Sony dominated the first two gens with the ps1 and ps2. They didnt win this gen, but the PS3 still beat out the 360, and finished runner up Still though, the PS3 ended up being one of the greatest pure gaming consoles of all time, so when it comes to what truly matters to gamers, PS3 was king and won this gen in my eyes(the best exclusives bar none. Just a surplus of awesome and varied ps exclusives, free online, blue ray etc) What it comes down to is this, Microsoft has come in dead last place for two gens in a row with the xbox lol So if anything, and considering Microsoft's current direction(kinect focus, little to no games etc) it would be safe to expect Microsoft to fail again, like they have for two gens in a row lol Delusional lems gonna lem it up I guess! And in fact, if it werent for windows Microsoft would have already died based on just the xbox etc

Not quite. You said X was getting defended because it was for a ninty system or open world. Its prob more because Xenoblade was well recieved and this is from the same devs. He just said he didn't care about KZ because he though it looked bland. Basically, he was speaking for himself and you generalized anyone interested in a game. Sorta a huge diff lol

Ps4 is 6-8x Wii U.  Probably closer to 8x, esp. because of the CPU's...

The PS4 will have 8gb of ggdr ram (the fastest ram) WHICH that IS AMAZING and is going to make a huge difference Just to put things into perspective, the Wii-U has 2gb of slow ram, and the kinect box 720 (durrango) is said to have 4gb of actually applicable slower ram etc When it comes to expansive and better looking games, the PS4 will have vastly significant edges over the Wii-U and the kinect box 720 The PS4 will be much much more powerful then the Wii U(well more then 6-8 times more powerful) and the PS4 will have significant edges over Durrango Keep in mind, Killzone shadow fall looked amazing and yet it was made with 4gb of ram Sony upped the ram (thank you Sony) so imagine that same demo of shadow fall made with 8gb of ggdr ram in mind instead? It would be significant That means more polygons, more particles, more characters on screen at once, bigger levels etc The 720 wont hold a candle to the PS4 when it comes to actual applicable gaming graphics etc

Everything I have seen so far of X looks bland to the tee! Look at the gif of X posted in the OP! Bland setting, generic monster, and nothing really going on on screen etc X looks generic and bland, But I guess because its "open world, " that automatically means it has no faults and is the best game ever lol Its funny how gamers will dedend any game just because it happens to be "open world" or is for a Nintendo system
