I just picked up a new Jasper arcade and slapped an hd in it, since my ps3 is now a oversized paper weight due to the drive. Cost me 250. Get one now!!!

Thanks for the great read (13 pages)!!!!!!!! Now if I could only start up a thread like this and get seven thousand posts out of it I would be set.
These people got what they deserved, I would have called it unfair if they were banned for their actions but they were not. I am a fair gamer and I am glad Microsoft is looking out for the majority.
Plus..theres probably no point in challenging him, he probably fails at every game he plays.

either that or he'll pay the next door neighbors 6 year old to fight his battles.
also, how is that 60 gig starter pack with the 3 months gold, i was going to get a pro but after checking 30 boxes they were all falcons.
Well after my PS3 broke and im having to send it in, i went ahead and picked up an arcade so i can get some 360 games i have been wanting to play for awhile. After searching these forums i have not found anything recent about the 20 gig hds. If they are still for sale anywhere reliable (not ebay, bad experiences) if anyone knows please let me know. Also any other suggestions on extras (planning on playing cod/halo/gears) to buy for someone who has never owned a 360 i will appreciate your comments!!!
$999.85 PM me if you want me to send the wishlist to your email so you don't have to find everything.TheDuffman26
how can i cut about 200 bucks off this build and still run games (cod4/waw/farcry/etc) at good settings?
[QUOTE="harley93nostalg"]ok with that im up to $803.91 then with the monitor mouse keyboard im up to... $1106.88. And this one (a6720y) from best buy is around $700 with the monitor (20") at my local best buy. neatfeatguy
I just took a look at the PC you're checking out and you need to make notice of a couple of things.
1. There is only onboard video for that PC - which means you're going to have to spend an extra $150-200 for a decent GPU
2. It doesn't list any information on the power supply for the computer - you might have to end up buying a better PSU to power a decent video card - if that's the case then add another $70-120 (depending on power and brand)
3. Granted the CPU in that computer is a quad core, but it's a slow quad core. Most games today still don't take full advantage of dual cores and even less take advantage of a quad core. If any game you play does not take advantage of quad core, then you're gaming at 2.2GHz on that Phenom CPU compared to an AMD 64 X2 7750 that's clocked at 2.7GHz - games will benefit more from a better dual core over that quad. Basically the first Phenom generation CPUs from AMD are just poorly optimized 64 X2 processors slapped together to make a triple-core or quad-core. They're clocked slower and don' t really provide much benefit over using a 64 X2 processor.
4. You might NOT have enough room inside that case to add a decent GPU card.
5. Most likely that case isn't going to provide decent air flow to help keep things cool, if you were to add a GPU.
That PC you're looking at isn't a bad one, it's just not designed well for someone that's looking to do any kind of decent gaming on it. You can pick up that PC with monitor and everything, but from the looks of it you're going to have to still spend an extra $200-300 for a video card and quite possibly a better PSU.
yeah your right... thanks!
