Im kinda in the same boat here as my PS3 just broke. I love it and i never use the extras that it has, just gaming. I only play cod4/WAW/rockband and some resistance. But now i am thinking about picking up a 360, i can have the PS3 repaired for $150.00 or put that towards the 360 and finally get to play halo/gears that some of my friends play. Of course i am going to keep my PS3 in case later i want to have it repaired.

i have searched on here for awhile now and i was wanting to know of a good desktop that could run all games pretty good. Also one that i could buy complete at best buy or somewhere. i have read several posts and put together a couple of rigs on newegg and they all came out over a grand. If i just go buy one complete i wont spend as much but if i build on (and i never had) i will spend more than i can afford. i went into best buy yesterday and ran the "can you run it" check on a couple computers for crysis and cod. they all were above recommended specs.

if you dont use bluray, play multiplats and wanted halo and gears WHY WHY WHY did you get a ps3 to begin with?

ebay your ps3 stuff and get a 360, dont get a warrenty from best buy though, microsoft already has a 3 year warrenty for RRoD

Well I never post on here but I read these forums A LOT!!!. My PS3 has bit the dust, will not read disks after the last update. I could send it in for $150.00 and get a refurb but here is my question... Should I sell my PS3 games and put the money towards a new 360 pro with the best buy ext warranty (black tie)? Getting it repaired would be cheaper but on the other hand the only games I play are COD4/WAW, rock band and some resistance. I never watch blu-ray or DVDs on it, and I do not surf the internet, just play online. I have always wanted to get into halo as well as gears as I have some friends that play these.
