Games only require the psp to be at a certain firmware. To download ANY game, you're psp must be at the LATEST firmware at all times. So its more likely to get bricked with the go, since you're required to always update.

Any smart person would get a 170$ new psp 3000, a 30$ 16gig memory stick, and be done with it. Best of both worlds. If you could, I'd wait until next fall. I see a 4000 coming with the screen issues fixed probably.

Next thing is, there isn't enough psp games on the psn store. Theres only like 60 psp games on the store currently. My point is that this game and many others would sell better if they were simply on the psn store! I mean, its another month for the psp go and so few games are even on the store? Most first party games aren't even on the store yet. God of war anyone?

This game plays just like the dragon ball z sparking/budokai tenkaichi games that had came out. Though the controls are a LOT easier. Its not a bad game for sure, but a simple borrow or even the demo will get you your fix.

Its not gamestop exclusive, since amazon, and all these other sites have it on preorder. The screen doesn't take much to scratch, but if you try and take care of it, you'll be fine. As long as you have constant power when you update your system, VERY RARELY do psps fail.

My question is, the advent children movie that comes with the bundle, is it complete or the original? I'm willing to bet the original sadly.

*Update- actually...maybe it is a gamestop exclusive. For some time, wally world and amazon had a listing for it. They are both taken down as of now*

^ You can only go back with custom firmware. NOW there are cases were say you're update is 2.02, and you want to go back to 2.00? SOMETIMES you can do that, but I'm not sure if you can even do that anymore.

While yes, some of you can probably download these updates in no time. I live out in the country that 300kb download speeds are god. Even now, I'm on someone elses wifi. Sure I can download the firmware for my psp, but until the psp is near full charge, I can't update it thus can't download games. You have to have a psp plugged up now to download even DEMOS! Before you could simply go and download them online, and put them on your psp. Tried getting the dissidia: final fantasy demo 2 days ago, and gave up. The only thing similiar I could find was an iso download for the full game, and I'm too lazy to do homebrew anymore.

But my point is that say all you do with your psp online is at your home, then you wouldn't have a single problem and you're wondering why this post even exists. But say you're at a mccdonalds or any wifi spot, and decide you want a game? With the psp go, you're just out of luck beacuse you can't get umds and it'll have to be updated *which you can't update because of the battery situation.* Steam on the pc only requires you to update if you plan to play multiplayer, but you can still buy and play games whenever.

Thats why IF I get a psp go, it would be very smart to keep my original 1000. Though, at least you'll be able to charge the go with the usb connector that'll eliminate most of these problems IF you have something in your car to plug them up to.

*which btw....yes sony does release firmware updates all too frequently on the psp/ps3. used to be, they'd do a simple one once a week. at least once a month is there a firmware update now. do 3-5 major firmware releases a year, and be done with it*

I can understand when a game has to have an updated psp system to work. Though, why does the psp HAVE to have the latest firmware to even go on the psn store? I mean, each of those things are at least 25 megs a piece. I can understand about homebrew and all, but when it hurts the actual customers? I was planning on getting a psp go in a few months, mostly for the form factor, non-ghosting screen, and the slick look. But if I seriously have to set somewhere at update the psp everytime I go to download a game, its too much of a problem to deal with. My current psp is a 1000, so if I try to update say at a wifi hotspot, can't do so because of the battery being too low apparently.

I mean, if a person had to update windows and firefox each time they put out a new update, barely anybody would use them.

New= factory sealed. Most games have that tape on the top that says what its called. If thats removed, somewhere down the line USUALLY its not factory sealed. Thats starting to change.

Well I've seen gamestop employees put used games in the new section. Those sleeves they put the games in aren't exactly all that protective, which is why you'll find scratches on your games sometimes. My street fighter ex3 game has this real huge ring scratch around it. Made it nearly unplayable for a so called new game.

My reccomendation? Start a bank account, leave what you need, and buy your games elsewear or go online. NOW if you can get that 10% discount for it being opened, it might be enough to consider.

Who cares? Sure, raiden is good and all too, but theres not really much of the way of a story to play with raiden that we haven't at least seen before. Sure, you have his young military days, and the olgas kid situation, but its not really enough.

How about ocelot? Playing as him during the cold war days, Hanoi, and during the time with the patriots? Sure. That or some more big boss backstory.

I just wonder how people have so much free time if BC is important to them, especially today.

I can understand BC being important in the first 6mos-1yr of a new console's life. But not right now.

I don't have enough free time to play all the current gens I want to play, let alone last gen games.

LosDaddie

Umm....ps2 games are still pretty big. The yakuza series is probably enough for anybody to play a ps2 game.

Another thing is, not everyone had a ps2. Ps2s are pretty fautly, slimline or not. Ps2 games look and play better on a ps3, and have that convience factor.

[QUOTE="Ragnarok1051"]The gamecube was the best in it's generation? I guess you can say that if you want to totally ignore the PS2.Zero5000X
quality >>> quantity in my book.

Then someone forgot about the quality of the original xbox games. Doom 3, chronicals of riddick, the halo series, and multiplatforms being best on it.
