I would be for it to be honest. In my opinion having it illegal isn't deterring use. What it is doing is creating a much higher demand for them and raising costs. And as long as there is a lot of money in it there will be drug dealers willing to risk it. If it were legal companies would start selling it the way alcohol, tobacco and recently marijuana are being sold. That would drive down costs both allowing users to not degenerate into stealing, prostitution and other means of making money for it and draining some of the money from crime networks by taking away the need to go to them to get a fix. This is coming from the son of a crack addict who was the son of a crack addict. I also have uncles who were heroin addicts and a deep history of alcoholism on my mothers side so I know what they do to people but I also know that having them remain illegal isn't stopping most people from using that were going to use anyways
