I know he will not be coming to the ring alone, well, the whole world knows that, not to mention that this isn't a regular match. Oh, no! It will be a submission match and we all know anything goes in a submission match up, you can use anything and everything you can get your hands on, however I am the dirtiest player in the game and I've been known for breaking the rules once or twice in my career, thumbs to the eyes, low blows, or my personal favorite the testicular claw... I don't trust you, never will, however Wrestlemania is weeks away and we've been put in a match together on Monday Night RAW so I'll hold up my end but you need to hold up your end aswell and we shouldn't have any problems but make no question about it when this is all said and done and Wrestlemania rolls around it's gonna be an all out war, animal against giant, on the biggest show of the year.

Batista: WOW, thank you very much! It's great to be here but I stand before you today disappointed, disappointed because I did not win the WWE championship like I said I would. I came real close but just couldn't get the job done, and I'm not out here to bring up any excuses about not walking out of RAW with the championship, all I'll say is the better man won on that night but rest assure you can't keep this animal down for very long and I will be WWE champion down the road. I also wanted to talk about the man who did walk out of Monday Night RAW with the WWE championship, Jeff Hardy, you put it all out on the line and came out on top and nobody deserves it more then you, congratulation and good luck your gonna make a great champion for the WWE!

I would be happy to accept that challenge you made but the problem is I was just told backstage that this coming Monday Night RAW I would face Billy Gunn and Road Dogg with my partner being, you, Big Show! I wasn't happy about this at all, just like last week I was looking forward in going one on one with Big Show but I might of just thought about something that will fix everything and make ME and all my fans really happy. Big Show and Batista one on one on the biggest show of the year, Wrestlemania!

well if you ask me wrestlemania is going downhill year after year... it's build up has the pay per-view of the year but never is, the last time wrestlemania was red hot going into it was back at wrestlemania x8 but ever sinceit's been nothing special! i will say that i like two of the matches announced already edge against undertaker should be a good match and shawn michaels against ric flair should steel the show :P i've also said it in december that jeff hardy will win the money in the back ladder match at wrestlemania and well it's a possibility now since he will be apart of the match... other then that thus far nothing that good but let's see we've still got one month so they might pull out a few more good matches but i wouldn't count on it

Funaki: Smackdown! number one announcer, here with Ric Flair after his grueling ECW championship match against RVD. Ric can we get your thoughts about the match?

Ric Flair: Well I just want to start by saying congratulation to Rob Van Dam on winning and walking out with the ECW championship, I respect everything you've done in this business and you take hardcore to a whole different level. I know my mistake was bringing that steel chair into the ring, I got caught up in the moment and forgot just how good RVD is when a steel chair gets involved in a match, the things he does with a steel chair are just simply amazing.

Funaki: What is next for Ric Flair?

Ric Flair: What is next, I said it before that I'm looking at the ECW championship and I didn't get the job done tonight but I will not quit. I'll get another chance at it in the future and next time I'll be better prepared, and more focus.
