I am a TV editor who uses 8GB, so what is required and what is overkill is a bit blurry for me.
I want to be able to play the top looking games, would 2 or 3GB cover this?
I did check out MSY, it is without a doubt the cheapest. But I couldn't trust myself (despite all the help forums) to build it. I could see myself putting a screwdriver straight through my new CPU or crushing the ram as I click it into the motherboard! haha.
I have spent the last week putting together this gaming pc (my first), I believe I have a decent price with decent parts, but any suggestions or corrections would be much appreciated.
CPU: Intel P4 Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4Ghz MOTHER BOARD: Asus P5WDG2-WS-Pro RAM: Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) HD: Seagate 320GB SATA II 7200RPM VIDEO CARD: Gainward GeForce 8800GTX 768mb POWER: Thermaltake 750W MONITOR: LG 20" Widescreen LCD, 5ms. Plus. XP Home, Sound Card, Cooling Fan, Case, Wireless Keyboard & Mouse etc...
Yeah, I've got it and played heaps of co-op split screen. But you have to choose a level to play. There is no story line, brief, or anything that you get in SP mode. I just need to see if someone has played system link!
I am looking for games that you can play through on a system link with two people CO-OP and play the story line? Just like Halo 1/2, Gear of war, perfect darkness etc... I know you can play co-op in Las Vegas split screen, but there is no story line, you just select your levels and play.
So the question, when playing Call Of Duty 2 or Rainbow Six Vegas through system link (not split screen) do you get to play CO-OP through the story line, or does it give you a poor cut down co-op multiplayer option?
