A First Year Anniversary To Me
by hiccup on Comments
I finally past the first year on Gamespot. I remember all the times, troubles, and fun I had here. To my dear friends here on GS thank you for being with me.... on many things such as helping me and doing the best you can to help in my unions.
I want to share something when I first came to GS. When I first joined I really did not care about it. All I did was fooling around blocking up peoples spaces . Until I realized that I was wasting my time.... I wanted to change they way I acted around I did not wanted to be a nuisance to no one.
I changed....when I was here I decided to be the friendly type to help eveyrone around....I became to learn how people act in their culture in here. I also noticed all the people that worship this site...I am not like that, but I will still give a decent chance to at least sign in once in a while. Anyway I will depart myself in this bloq so long and take care.
Back........Full..........Busy............New Things
by hiccup on Comments
Yes, I have been on a temporarily hiatus. I have had a really busy week with homework and going out with my family and friends. I did miss GS a little. I supposed I missed alot since I could not attend the launch day for the PS3 and the WII. I got a new emblem which for everyone it is old.:P I guess anyone in here can get the picture for what it stands for.
It is a nice emblem to have in your profile. I am going to become a brother......my mom is not pregnant but my mom's boyfriend's son is going to live with us for a year..... just so he can go to school in here to learn english. He is living in my room and going to share the computer once in a while that is going to cut off mytime in here on GS. But no worries I will still be here to check on all my unions.
For thanksgiving I went off to Washington just to look at that old Abe sitting there. I could say it wasn't an exciting day but I just liked that I had some time with my family. Just take care everybody, cya around.
Guitar Gears.

YEAH!!!!!!!!
I got Guitar hero 2, I had myself over a 5 - to 10 hour marathon today.....since I had no school......I decided to go and but it. I can say that the game is harder than it was before since it's difficulty on some solos are aching with pain on your fingers. Such as songs like Hangar 18 and Psychobility Freakout it's mostly impossible to beat this game.
I am a little dissapointed, since the creators could have at least just put more than 62 songs. Some of the songs aren't that official mostly half of them all, are just hardcore solos that just test your skills. People say that Freebird is hard, but trust me it is not as hard as you may think there were harder songs that I had to keep on retrying than 'Freebird'. A particular one was called 'Hangar 18' I tried that song on expert but the results were ugly I have only seen one person that has beaten it and that is MrCHUP0N.
I am still happy, and this happiness will last about for 4 days.....so you better get used to it. I mentioned earlier about the practice mode in another bloq........I really did enjoy that addition since they break songs into pieces of the places that give you a difficulty of passing. You can put your own speed on the song so you can find the technique to the solo. Mostly that is the only new improvement to the game. I really was sad since the track list wasn't as legendary as the original game......we do see some good ones but in the original game all the songs were all well known
Guitar Hero 2 wasn't about the track list it was all about the bitting difficulty and how good you are. GH2 is still a good game but I would've just wished that they would have added more songs.
Now that we are out of the guitar era we can discuss about Gears of War. ever since it's release people have been saying that this will be the new Halo and that it will be Game of the Year. Gears of Wars has succesfully beaten up all the hype for other things since this will be the game that people would want to buy a 360.
Now it's too early to announce wich will in the console war. PS3 early launch title game Genji Days of Blade wasn't that much of a surprise but more will come and that more will and shall blow our minds aways with exhaustion. Jeff Gerstmann talked about it that he has never seen such an apocalyptic war that has had a major budget in a day.
I've heard people say that the multiplayer is better than Halo. Maybe this game will inspire me to buy the 360. Gow can become game of the year but there is still yet to come in many places. So we will have to wait for the announcements. Personally I still think Gears of War will become Game of the Year, not because of the score just becasue of the quality the game values.
Happy Halloween.

And so I celebrate Halloween without a costume whatsoever. It's now that I can't or that I have bad taste for costumes....it is just I really don't feel like trick or treating. I will just be treating on my front door for some miscellaneous candy of some sort. The only way I do celebrate halloween is enjoying a scary movie with my folks on the couch. We were going to plan seeing Saw 3 but for some reason we cancelled it.
Right now we are all going to see two movies. Which is 'Night of the Living Dead' and 'Psycho'. We were going to the 'The Excorcist' but my family really did not want to see it since there was a calamity back then when they all saw it with fear. Technically they are scared of watching the movie. At least the family is there and the whole group is without despair.
So that's what I am going to do today in a few minutes. Other than that I got a new emblem..
For tuning in on October 28, 2006 to watch GameSpot's 8-hour Gameplay Marathon of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. We mean the closed beta version of The Burning Crusade. If anyone who wanted to could get in, we know you would have been right there with us playing for hours on end.
I actually did not waste eight hours of seeing all the gameplay I just saw about 2-3 hours of it all. I really did like it, the chat was cool but the sweat from Greg's head handling two computers at once ruined the vibe:P Burning Crusade is really showing it's true potential for some gamers. I might just check it out myself once it's released.
Hero Worship

And so the fret board explodes with the anticipation and countless hours of waiting for Guitar Hero 2. I surely cannot wait for it's release, hopefully I just pray to God that it comes out soon enough.
Reinvigorating the rock
So here are the few modes that are going to change the way of view on GH2.
1.Co - Op - Becoming a head-banging hero is no longer just a solo act. Along wiht the versus mode from Hero's debut, you can now join forces with a bud on the bass (or rhythmn guitar for some songs). During a tune, you'll share a combo meter with your bandmate, and to activate your collective starpower, you'll have to coordinate you rock-out for some sychronized shreddin'.
2.Practice - Even heroes need practice taming the beasts of rock. Thankfully, now you can master specific sections of finger-cramping ditties in the new practice mode. Along with the ability to pick different sections of the song(intro, chorus, solo and so on) you can slow down specific parts so you can perfect the ideal fingering to fight off any tune holding you back.
3.Career - Working your way up to a guitar god is a little different this time. You'll still build your street cred from the bottom, but now you'll start below the bottom; the first round of songs starts you off in a high school battle of the bands. You'll end each settlist with an encore. Anf now the game will really take you on tour---each venue is set in a different city. A map tracks the cross-country progress of your tour bus.
I am glad that they changed the practice mode, it reinvents it the way you play it. Probably to poser, rookie, rocker, hero, and God:P I really don't want to be a poser in the game, and hopefully you won't neither when you buy the game.
Out of aside of videogames I am was sick with the flu I missed three days of school so it was pretty serious. Tomorrow I got a hella of a lot of omework to do so please wish me luck.
Oh did you read my new about me section....? Well it says that I am an article writer for my school and....guess...what?....I am one:P I guess all the time visualizing on GS helped me alot. I guess I am referred as the nerd in school and Pebbles (my GF) puts up with that on a obstruneus basis. About the article writing, I attend with this dude named Russel we work together giving out the rumors, news, announcements, and puzzles. I am the writer and he is the designer for how the page looks in and out:D
Anyway cya you all GSpotters.

'The Bully' can Bully the J.
by hiccup on Comments
Before he's even had a chance to ditch class or hock loogie in a single freshman's face, Jimmy Hopkins which is the 'Bully' is already making a name for himself as the 'hero' of the next bad game to ban. What, you mean PTA groups and antiviolence crusaders take issue with a game in which your main mission is to rise to the top of a juvie-delingquent school's social order by fighting dirty and attending as few classes as possible?
I got Bully, not even a week and this game is getting so many rants from two UK retailers and a specific lawyer named Jack Thompson ever since he wanted to stop it from going to stock other people got inspiration from him to do the same thing. I understand why they are all doing this even though for a rated 'T' game I think the game could critically pollute the kids brains like 3-9.
The game is pretty good with the fighting figurations makes the game even better. You can find humor between the game but maybe that can only lead with people that have dark humor, since you can beat up little ones and killing teachers that will be the leading.
The game was published from the creators of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and we all know how that game went on. With the 'hot coffe sex mod' this game went haywire. Now the story is good and Bully does show some heart and good daily life lessons......NOT!
I just pray to God that the game won't go politically incorrect. Letting the game go into stock wont hurt anybody...
Wait a minute.......do you guys ever remember the big fight from Jack Thompson and Adam Sessler?..... but anyway they kept on getting it on with each other, each one of them had a point but the one that was big and dodged was this, games always have a rating. So technically it's not the publishers fault but it's all the parents fault that they don't know how to keep an eye out of what they're kids are buying.
Even with the resentment from Jack and retailers, Bully will make it into stock and no one will stop it from happening.
I already know that Kevin is anticipated for this.:P The registration is open so hurry up and sign if you are interested.
UPDATE 1: Sorry folks for changing the bloq title I just want to try different bloq titles.:D

No time no time no time.....!
Wow seriously I gotta go and buy myself a single game because I have been in a rut on my house. School is practically draining my life and I can't even do anything. I had to sneak out with ym friends to watch movies or do something since my parents are uberly strict.
Anyway out of that......now into new. My life with Pebbles is going swell and I can still refer to myself that I love her. Speaking of love please give out to the support of Fishdalf since thid dude is going to propose to his girlfriend pretty soon:)
I pre-ordered the WII all that working with my Grandma's business really helped me out to receive what I deserve. I haven't pre-ordered any games at all but I will, sooner or later. I can smell some anticipation for the launch but the scent is very minor.
All my unions are great I got demoted from The Ultimate God Of War Union since I ahd no activity in it.....since overall I got a little bored from it. My union needs some activity I barely have some posts....and I don't even want to begin by changing the name of the union once again so I am sticking with the one I have.
Anyway that is all I have to share.
