What would you choose?

I haven't posted in my journal for awhile (and haven't caught up on comments either :) so...

I was sitting here thinking about the fact that I have been taking some allergy medicine this year. This has been the worst year for me for allergies so I decided that medicine was the answer. I have noticed since I have been taking it that I have more energy, so much energy in fact that I only need around 6 hours of sleep a night and I am good to go... woohoo!

So this brings me to my philosophical question: If you could trade 5 years of your life for an improvement in the quality of your life for the remainder of your years, would you do it? I say this because I'm really not sure that the drug I'm taking isn't causing me harm... you know, making my liver run double-time. So far it seems great and am happy I made the choice... but then again I didn't make a choice between the two... I think I am not having to choose! :D

Your thoughts and feedback are engouraged... peace out!

Panzer General 2 Challenge

I was playing Panzer General 2 not so long ago. When I play this game, I try to win with a brilliant victory every time. This means a lot of saving and loading when a battle doesn't go well and also means that there is quite a bit of strategy to determine the best way to win the brilliant victory in the turns required. It also allows your units to become unstoppable and your army in general to be very powerful. Some of the units I started with in the beginning of the game were elite units by the end and before every battle I would upgrade the units to maximum strength and also decide if I needed to upgrade their equipment. By the end my German army had many Tiger and Panther tanks. My airforce had probably 7 planes with a majority of these as fighters to retain air superiority. It was a good challenge and a lot of fun.
