@chipbrooks2313: Difficulty is fine for the most part. The bosses were genuinely hard and part of the battle system is balancing between biding your time or going all in.
@Spacerac: Yooka-Laylee has 20 years to look at the shortcomings of collectathons and fix its biggest flaws. Instead it doubled down on it. A remake gives the devs a chance to fix some of the shortcomings they felt the game had. Instead, they stuck their heads in the sand and pretended that it's what the people want.
@Spacerac: It's the same problem with Yooka Laylee. 3d Platforming has been surpassed in the 20 years after Crash was released. It couldn't even match Super Mario 64 in its heyday, and now even that game was surpassed by Super Mario Galaxy.
@rob909e: Still ended up double dipping. Sometimes Nintendo needs to realize it's not a bad thing to release a rehash of a good thing plus better multiplayer.
