lol none of the games mentioned so far have a very engaging story besides neverwinter nights.  if you enjoy good stories then get games such as dreamfall, knights of the old republic (1 and 2), neverwinter nights (as already mentioned), and if you enjoy something unique (with a very engaging story) check out indigo prophecy.  gamespot review for it is here
lmao, this has made my day. a video tutorial!!!! sorry pacman but i think you should learn the basics about computers then try to cheat (not to sound harsh, its just funny). lol ok, after you change the values, save the changes. then right click on the file you just edited (proto), and click properties, now check the box that says read only.

I would be extremely interested in the name of this game.
looks good, except get nightfall before factions, it is supposed to be better. it did get slightly lower scores just becaue they said it was more of the same. also even though I'm not a real big warcraft 3 fan, it supposed to be good and it is old enough that you could probly get it with the expansion in a set for about 20 bucks, much cheaper than the others you have listed there. also, a game such as ut2004 is quite good (read the reviews) and you should be able to get that for 15 or 20 dollars.
hmmm honestly i just looked up quake wars and watched some vids and stuff, it didnt look that great to me. graphics weren't top notch in comparison to other games coming out this year, the action didnt look that special either. it just looked..... average. bioshock looks cool for sure, and everyone has heard of crysis. stalker could be interesting, you may want to pick it up because while the other games mentioned all come out in around oct/nov, stalker is out on the 20th this month. ps: dont get me wrong, quake wars might be great, just my opinion of what i saw.

500gb total, using all of it too. (2*250gb samsung and seagate). 1 hard drive is only for movies/tv shows and game iso's (iso's are game images, so i basicly irtually mount them and its like i inserted a cd). so on that drive ive got 94 gb movies/tv shows and 138 gb games. but it got filled so my other drive now has 27 gb games and 52 gb movies. so to sum up 460 gb total, 146gb movies/tv, 165 gb games, and the rest just random installs.
