If your getting another PS2, dont get the big ones that have the number 30001 in the back. This model is known to crap out more, otherwise, get a slim PS2. As for upgrading to a PS3, I say wait because if you want to continue playing PS2 games it wont play on a 60GB PS3 and a 80GB PS3 has limited PS2 support.GamingBoy2009
