yes i forgot to mention that i have no mods in skyrim.

disabling hyperthreading did the trick! now i'm getting exactly 60! do i need to enable it back on, or i can leave it off at all time?

I wonder how some people got 100fps on skyrim with ultra settings?

I'm happy i got 60, but wonder why my system cant go beyond 60?

Is your monitor 60hz? Maybe you have v-sync enabled.

ok shutting off v-sync completely (in the nvidia control panel) was a bad idea, i got 130+ fps, bears were moving really fast and my horse went flying lol. i changed it back to adaptive, so everything is good i guess?

My settings in the nvidia panel are all on default (cept the v-sync, this one i changed to adaptive), should i change some other things to get the most out of my card?

hi, i just got a new pc and installed skyrim again and moved my old saves.

When it's maxed out, it gives me 40fps, can i somehow get to 60?

my spec are:

i7 4790,asus z97-a, 16gb ram, gtx770

i disabled v-sync in the nvidia control panel but it's still the same.. would like to know if it's possible to get 60fps, what can i lower in the skyrim launcher so that it wont hurt the graphics, etc

Thanks!

Hi

I'm planning to buy a new gaming pc and i would like to get some suggestions. My budges is around 1500$. I want to buy really good parts to last me for long. (have my current gaming rig for almost 7 years! only changed graphic card once). I want it to be able to run new and upcoming games without problems. I only need it for gaming.

The budget is purely for the case and the parts, without screen/keyboard/etc. As for the case, i would like it if it will be open on the side (open as to see the inside of the case), blue light can also be nice as i have no idea how to add light myself but it's not a must.

Thank you
